« The house was spacious, well-appointed and very quiet. The main problem for us was that there was no Wi-Fi. This surprised us. There was a smart TV, but we could not stream anything because there was no Wi-Fi. Also, the cellular signal was very weak (we use Koodo/Telus). My husband could not complete some work he wanted to do because of the lack of Wi-Fi. The very weak cellular signal meant he could not hotspot off his phone either. We enjoyed using the barbeque and the fire pit. »

« Lovely cottage. Very clean, comfortable, fun rooftop deck over the boathouse, great to sit on the back deck and enjoy meals and sunsets overlooking the lake, lots of watercraft to enjoy. Really appreciated that the hosts provided absolutely everything (linens, towels, soap, drinking water, basic cooking needs, and not just a single roll of toilet paper!). Caron provided excellent and timely communication. Definitely recommend a stay at this great cottage! »

« My family stayed here over Easter weekend and enjoyed our visit. The area is beautiful and the property is nice, since it was still chilly we enjoyed watching the birds on the water from inside. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was down almost our whole visit which apparently was out of the owners control. My only other complaints would be that the main floor was chilly as there is only 2 vents in the main area. The property manager was under the impression that there was electric baseboard heaters...

« We really enjoyed our holiday at Avalon! The host met us to explain the property, and a little "Father's Day" cup with chocolates was waiting for my husband.
