Flittermouse cottage is a charming barn conversion offering upside down living. The cottage accommodates four comfortably, and is situated near to Camelford, Cornwall. The barn has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, bathroom with separate shower, with the rest of the accommodation being open plan living area, kitchen,and sitting area. There is a galleried outside seating area, for you to enjoy. Overlooking our field where you are welcome to walk your dog. Outside there is ample off road parking, a gravelled enclosed seating area with garden furniture. The Barn is perfectly set in the area for discovering North Cornwall countryside and coastline, your stay with us, im sure will leave you with fond memories for years to come.

Gemütliches kleines Cottage mit herzlicher Gastgeberin
Wir wurden bei Ankunft herzlich empfangen. Das Cottage wurde mit Liebe restauriert und eingerichtet. Wir durften 5 Tage dort verbringen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Paula, die Gastgeberin, wohnt direkt nebenan und hat für jedes Problem ein offenes Ohr. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

We were warmly greeted by Paula and any queries we had more than sufficiently answered. We loved the fact that the residence used to be a barn and it has been converted superbly making it very cosy. The residence is well situated centrally within the Cornwall area and in a peaceful and tranquil setting. We will definitely be staying there again!

Highly recommended
I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Our stay from start to finish was amazing . We arrived late at night (1am) after attending another wedding 3 hours away. We were still greeted by Paula who showed us in and checked we were ok. She even signed my teenage son into WiFi! The cottage it’s self is beautiful and immaculate. Everything you need inside set within a stunning location. Anyone thinking of staying here really should! The village is lovely and not too far from local shops and pubs . The cottage is amazing and so are Paula and her husband. We couldn’t have asked for more accomodating and welcome hosts. 5 star from us !

Lovely property, welcoming and helpful hosts. Tea tray and biscuits on arrival, lots of advice and flyers about the area, really lovely people. Very accommodationg for our dog. One dowmside is you need to get in a car to go anywhere BUT you are well-located for lots of North Cornwall beaches and towns

The cottage is easy to find with parking space. We visited north Cornwall during our stay and didn’t have to use too many of those tiny Cornish roads thankfully. Paula was very friendly and helpful . The cottage is immaculate and spotlessly clean with everything you need for your break . Would highly recommend

Stunning cottage- great location!
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Flittermouse and it’s simply perfect. The cottage is beautiful and clean with everything you could possibly ask for and great location to get to lots of attractions around Cornwall. The hosts are just lovely and very accommodating for your every need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon- thankyou!

Lovely hosts and cottage
Very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was clean, modern but retaining a rural, rustic charm. Beutifully finished and very comfortable. The garden and area was quiet and the paddock behind was lovely to walk around, perfect for children and dogs to play in. The location gave easy access to nearby beaches and tourist attractions. We loved Eden, Tintagel, The Hidden Valley Puzzle Park and rock pooling at Trebarwith Strand. We highly recommend Flitter Mouse Cottage and would book again. Paula , our lovely host, even posted the bag I left behind when we departed early for home.

Perfect Cornwall hetaway
We chose this cottage due to the location and the proximity to the many places we wanted to visit in the Southwestern part of England. It was fantastic. Not only did it exceed our expectations on the ease of location, but also in the cleanliness and the amenities that were offered. Paula is a great host and we highly recommend this vacation rental.

Had a lovely time at the property, peaceful location but easy to access. House was well appointed and hosts were helpful and friendly. Only issue was broadband being down during visit, beyond control of our hosts and despite their best efforts to cajole BT into action. However didn’t spoil our break, 4G was good enough to get by on.

Perfect Property
Couldn't have chosen a better property. It was located in the beautiful countryside: far enough away from the madding crowd, but near enough to many of Cornwall's famous beaches and hotspots. Flittermouse Cottage itself was beyond my expectations. I was expecting it to be lovely from the description itself, and from the previous reviews, but my expectations were exceeded. After a long and tedious journey, we were greeted by Paula, who was down to earth and made us feel right at home. As stated by others, the cottage was spotless and cozy - it was. The layout was perfect for us -two adults, two teenagers and a large dog - room enough for everyone. Flittermouse Cottage will be our go to place in Cornwall from now on..

Beautiful cottage
Flittermouse Cottage is very pretty, finished to a high standard, well equipped and spotless. We are are family of 3 adults and an older teenager, and the cottage had plenty of space for us, plus everything we might need. There is a lovely little balcony and courtyard garden with a table, and a secure paddock at the back where the owners allow guests to exercise their dog. Paula and her family are very kind and helpful, I’d happily recommend this cottage. You need a car, but it is well located for beaches and villages / towns.

Our stay at Flittermouse cottage was lovely. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped. We really felt welcomed by Paula and family. Having the field behind to give our dog a run was a massive bonus. Camelford and the surrounding area was lovely. We will definitely be back!
