But Camden was such a nice town and the visit was going well, so we decided at the last minute to extend our stay. Kate was very accomodating! The house was the perfect configuration for our little gang and the location is excellent: one mile from downtown and very quiet even though on the 'main' street. It is comfortable, clean and quiet. If you’re looking for a modern, high tech setting it may not be your place. Opening the door, we were greeted with some old-fashioned charm in a well-equipped and ver comfortable home. The house, which was built in 1820, has a kitchen with nice appliances, stocked with ample pots and pans, serving pieces, dishes and silverware. There was also a cute little porch which was a perfect place to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The house was extremely well located, just minutes from town. Our host communicated well and entry instructions were easy to follow.
