The room smelled like people smoke in it, moldy… yuck! I went ti bed and was woken up around 1am by people stomping on the second floor, and loud voices. I tried to ignore it but it kept happening. At 2:30 am someone parked a truck next to my room door with music blasting and the owner singing! I called the front desk and the girl was uncertain as to what to do. I ended up leaving the hotel in the middle of the night. I do not understand the very good rating. Even without the noise I would never stay here again.

I did not realize until I arrived that this was a motel and not a hotel. Not a big deal, as I was by myself, and the accommodations served my needs. That said, I would not make this a place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. The staff were nice, but the place (and my room in particular) seemed run-down. Part of the frame of the door into the room was just bare, pressure-treated wood. I was glad that they had repaired it, but the unfinished look of it was less impressive. Other details to consider: The door to the bathroom had been removed, and the bathtub itself had peeling paint. Neither of these were a big deal for what I needed, but might be off-putting to others (no bathroom door??). It was nice to have a refrigerator in the room, and the bed was decently comfortable.

The best part was the staples holding the wallpaper down in the bathroom. Completely old and run down hotel with people living in some of the rooms Full time along with random people hanging outside all day. Stayed there because of business in the area and many of the hotels were booked. Had two nights and left after the first and didn’t even ask for a refund for the 2nd night. Drove about an hour out to get a room elsewhere.

Got there and they gave my room to someone else I booked a king size bed and when I got there the lady at the desk said o we just gave your room away but I have another one for you and put me in a room with a queen bed said I was going to get a discount and then when I was leaving said o well you have to take that up with the person you booked with

We did like the comfort of the bed. There was a live wasp in the windowsill. The towels were dingy. There were large cobwebs around the ceiling and the drapery. The towel rack was hanging at an angle and then actually fell off. The hole is screwed into was large. For a total non-smoking facility, it certainly smelled smoky.

The room we stayed in was very small. There was no chair to sit at the desk. The only place to sit was on the bed or on the floor. Breakfast was very limited. The first morning there was cereal but no spoons. The 2nd morning there were spoons but no milk, so they just put the cereal away. Both mornings I made a teeny waffle with the 1/8 cup of batter that was there.
