« We loved the location and space for two people. There are two wash rooms (one with a tub and the other with a shower). There is one toilet room, which worked fine for us but to be aware of if you have a larger group. The kitchen was well stocked and Gaylene our host even left us a fresh loaf of bread from the local bakery and some jams and butter. The bed was comfortable, there was a washer and dryer. « The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

« Stunning property! Stayed for a couple nights in Jan. Note that cabins are serviced via tank so hot tub water was a little brown due to this. High quality locally-sourced breakfast essentials and toiletries provided. Absolutely beautiful grounds that are very well maintained. Woke up to the sound of songbirds and gentle rain pattering on luscious green fernery. Highly recommend these secluded cabins for a luxurious nature retreat! »

« Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. « Had a great time, fantastic location right on the Jamieson river. River was a little low but still able to paddle and cool off. Easy walk to local cafe, general store and pub. House accommodated us all comfortably, plenty of use of the deck area and fire pit. Short drive to the nearest boat ramp. Jess was very efficient in answering any queries we had, check in was easy. Overall a great weekend. »
