Our island's motto is "Come out of your shell on Camano", and we invite you to do exactly that! Adventure, relaxation, wildlife observation and more await you in this very special place. You don't even have to take a ferry, just drive right on. We warmly invite our guests to venture over and experience all this wonderfully welcoming island has to offer! Our 2,100 sq ft home sits directly on the shoreline, with waterfront views from every room. Relax your cares away in well separated bedrooms with luxurious down pillows, comforters and linens. Each bedroom features its own private ensuite bathroom, and two bedrooms offer their own balconies. You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and complimentary eco-friendly supplies throughout. All you need is a change of clothes and whatever sounds good to eat! If you don't feel like cooking, there are several local dining options and a grocery store nearby as well. Relax on the waterfront patio to immerse yourself in the surroundings, with views of the Cascades and Mt. Pilchuck in the distance. Observe native wildlife in action...bald eagles soaring, fish swimming and seals bobbing along, to name a few. If you are fortunate in your timing, you may even see whales magnificently spouting as they cruise through the bay! At high-tide, the water will come right up to the patio's edge, giving the feeling of a portside nautical adventure. When the tide is out, enjoy exploring the beach with its countless rocks, shells, driftwood and sea life. Kids will surely have fun with the provided beach toys as well. Our winter guests will enjoy storm watching through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the sun room, accompanied by the cozy ambience of a wood-burning stove. Seeking adventure? Grab one of the provided kayaks and paddle along the shoreline while viewing sea creatures down below. Hop on a bicycle and cruise the flat, paved community road alongside the beach. Wonderful for leisure walks too! Cast a line out front and reel in a fresh fish. (Poles and license required.) That hardly begins to describe the fabulous beach bungalow/palace. The house was immaculate. The bedrooms all have great beach views. The kitchen is very well equipped and laid out. Having a fireplace/woodstove in the sun room added a special ambiance on the first October night as we were getting the house warmed up. We had a high high tide and stiff breeze out of the SSE the first afternoon. The whitecaps were rolling and the dragon sized driftwood logs went parading by. During low tides we walked on the beach. The kids hunted shells and skipped rocks. When the winds calmed we launched kayaks and explored up and down the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Next time we'll bring a couple cans of cat food and set some crab pots. ##### Doug B. First of all, we rented the house for a girl's getaway. We are four besties in our 50's and we love to rent homes on the water to escape reality. The entire house has unique beachy decor and fun lighting. Each of us had a private water view bedroom and bathroom (two with private decks).The beds were comfy and the sheets were the softest I have ever felt. The fact that that this home is ON the water when the tide came in was amazing. Falling asleep to those waves hitting the front of the property was a slice of heaven. The kitchen was very well stocked. The heavy duty swing on the patio was a favorite. The two seats swing independently and you can swing while enjoying the water view. It felt like you could launch right into the water! There are plenty of blankets to cuddle up in while you enjoy the patio (it gets cool at night even on hot days). One piece of advice - bring flip flops or slippers to walk on the patio and inside of the home. We love the location, being right on the high bank water. Each bedroom has a view and three of them have attached bathrooms. This property was the perfect experience for a family gathering with several young children. Gorgeous location right on the water! The home has many thoughtful touches with careful attention to detail. Each room has its own en suite bathroom, the kitchen was fully equipped for meals, and many toys & games were available for the little ones. Highly recommend for families! We brought a 2 year old and 2 month old and it was perfectly set up for children. Beach access + kayaks and bikes - there are so many fun things to do for all members of the family!. Inside is a very well maintained beach home, tons of space - with both a central area of entertaining and little nooks for kids to play, reading or individual screen time. Frankly, it is an incredible value in comparison to what you can get elsewhere in this price range. Very highly recommend! ##### David C.
