« We went to Calumet for a girl's weekend. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the downtown - some really great authentic antique stores and shops. The coffee shop was fabulous. The property location is fabulous - just a mile from downtown. Great deck to chill on. Price was fabulous - there were four of us and we each had our own room/tons of space to just spread out and relax at night. Amenities were great/we had what we needed to cook, etc. Our weekend was affordable, fun and authentic. Couldn't...

« This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

« Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. « We enjoyed our stay here very much! It fit our needs perfectly for our rockhounding trip. It was my husband and I along with my sister and our 2 dogs. There is a nice big yard for the dogs. The cabin is rustic, which I liked and was clean and comfortable.Communication with hosts was great. We had a couple of questions and they always responded quickly. Check in was easy. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had all the pans and utensils we needed. No complaints here! »
