With no near neighbours the silence is broken only by birdsong, providing the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and relaxing away from the hubbub. The triple aspect windows provide an abundance of natural light, whilst the reclining leather couch affords a comfortable location for enjoying the mesmerising views. The oak flooring and sparkling crystal wall lights complement the well-equipped kitchen, which overlooks the colourful flowerbeds, extensive level lawns and pond, all of which attract an abundance of wildlife, completing the country chic. The sumptuous feel of the Victorian, kingsize brass bed is complemented by the en-suite, whose shimmering mosaic tiled floor is reminiscent of the sea, with its pretty stained-glass windows completing the beach hut feel. Dressing gowns, slippers and throws afford a comfortable stay. The large veranda’s eating area invites you to breakfast in the glow of the sunrise and later dine in the splendour of the evening sun setting over the moor. There is a private driveway and private parking area for 1 car. The breath-taking moorland views of Caradon Hill, Sharptor, Notter Tor on Bodmin Moor and Kit Hill, tempt you to explore, both directly from the property and via the vast array of nearby walking, cycling and horse-riding opportunities to immerse yourself further in the picturesque serenity. Neighbouring villages include Pensilva with moorland horse riding, Minions with the ancient Hurlers stone circles and the Cheesewring rocks, all with astonishing views of Cornwall, to the coast. Local National Trust properties include Cotehele, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge. Gunnislake forms the start of the Tamar Valley (AONB) scenic railway line. Canoe and cycle hire is available at Calstock, standing opposite historic Morewellham Quay, on the lush banks of the beautiful River Tamar. There is an open-air Sterts Theatre and Siblyback Lake offers water sports, fishing, level walking and an off-road cycle route. St Mellion International Resort offers golf, spa and pool.
