Completely renovated in a contemporary style with rustic features, it has central air conditioning system as well as fiber optics Wi-Fi internet connection. The Villa is located in Calheta - south coast of the Island and considered one of the warmest places on the island, only 600m from Calheta Marina with several superb restaurants and less than 1km from the golden sandy beach of Calheta. Large super market Pingo Doce is also only 1km away. Despite the walking proximity to all amenities, the Villa has a special position away from it all in the middle of the nature and only 20m above the ocean. It offers one of the best climates year round due to the low altitute and being next to the ocean. Watch the waves roll on the beach below from a private overhang balcony, a perfect setting offering amazing sunsets during all seasons. Large 10 x 5 metre inifinity pool can be heated with additional cost of 40 EUR per day. The heating of the pool is possible only over the entire stay and cannot be switched on or off mid-stay. Please note it takes 2-3 days to heat up the water, so the decision should be communicated at least 2 days in advance. We paid the extra fees to heat the pool during our stay, which was totally worth it. Everything worked well. We walked into Calheta for dinner. The home itself is extremely well appointed, with anything one would need to start out on a Madeira. There is a grocery store, and the port city of Calheta, a two minute drive on the same road as the house. I cannot say enough of the house representitive Gabriel. He was such a joy to have, very full of info on the house and the island, showing us all the amenities, and giving great insight and recommendations. The property is absolutely beautiful; placed right in a banana plantation with lots of privacy without taking away from the breathe taking views of the island. The location is very peaceful and quiet but you can walk 5-10 minutes down the road to the hotel that offers beach beds, rooftop bar and beach bar to the public. Grocery store is a 5 minute drive away too! If you wanted to do any of the levada hikes we found that the house was very centrally located to most of them! Check in and check out was very smooth and Rui was a pleasure to deal with and took care of everything we needed. Would love to come back and would recommend to anyone whose interested in visiting the island! ##### Jake L. I can say with certainty that the location of the house here is unique. The house itself is simple, but equipped with everything. On the upper floor there are two rooms with sea views. The third and smaller room is located to the side. On the ground floor you have view of the pool and the sea. The path from the parking lot to the house is a bit narrow, steep stairs (but doable), banana palms on the left and right, roosters and chickens that greet you :-) Wonderful. The location is very quiet. Very nice pool with sea views. Large terrace, practically over the sea. Great view. What can I say, view, view, view and 100% RELAX! ##### Alessandro I.
