The loft is on the periphery of the main downtown area and still had plenty of shops/restaurants - which would have been great if it weren’t for the train tracks one block from the loft. The train seems to run the majority of the day and throughout the night. I imagine if you stay several days you may adjust to the sound, but if not, it’s an incredibly loud disruption to sleep and a generally peaceful stay. Host communication was just OK - I informed him that his URL with check-in info didn’t work and he never replied to the message, so we had a stressful time finding the loft location and determining a legal way to park (it’s now 4 days later and he has not acknowledged my message).
