An average hotel in an ugly neighbourhood. Many trucks along the day and night insiste the hotel, looks like a worksite.

Staff were great, food was really good. Local to bars and shops, near the famous beaches of calangute. Great area, friendly and extremly helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday and can be kept cold in the heat. 10/10.

At check in we were met with blank faces and no conversation at all, during our stay we started to think the staff has been told not to engage / make eye contact or speak to guests at all . The room was a little small but was very comfortable and refreshed every day which was good . The breakfast was simple but enough, the egg and omelette counter very chaotic but when you finally got your order they were worth the wait . The giant mound of butter was extremely off putting and very unhygienic . There were guests buttering toast from it while stood there ! A good stay overall but not worth the rate paid

As the leader of the team, one of the key responsibilities I have towards my guests is to look after their comfort and well-being and I take these shortfalls in service extremely seriously. I do realize how tremendously saddened you were with the inadequacies you faced regards to the areas you indicated in below email. We feel equally disappointed that we did not live up to your expectations and to our usual ibis Styles brilliance that you have so rightly come to expect and deserve from an ibis Styles Hotel.Cleanliness is of utmost importance and I am extremely disheartened that these parameter was not taken care of prior your arrival. I have discussed the feedback about the mold in the room at length with my Housekeeping Manager. All of us work with one singular objective of looking after our guests and personalizing their experiences and it pains us greatly to have even a single guest leave the hotel with anything less than a positive impression – please accept my heartfelt apologies for a less than perfect stay. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you during your recent stay with us.Further to our feedback about the drainage issue , I would like to explain that the washroom only has a drainage in the shower area. The WC area does not have a separate drainage which can lead to water clogging if water is splashed near the water closet. Our rooms and bathrooms are designed after an extensive market survey with an intention of best utilization of the space available. This allows us to deliver our promise of “wellbeing at the best price” with very competitively priced rooms.It pains to see even a single guest leave the hotel unhappy , please accept my heartfelt apologies for less than a perfect stay. The first room allotted was bad. After an hour long haggling, they gave a better room. There was painting of exterior walls going on. It caused some hindrances and discomfort. The front desk staff lacked in experience in handling foreign nationals’ customer documents. They were a bit argumentative initially. Later on they came around and were quite helpful. Overall, the hotel was good. But the price seemed over rated. The free breakfast was great.

Everything was good about Ibis. Nice property to stay. Food was really nice. Amazing staff and always ready to help. Specially Bhumila & Pema. The hotel's guest relationship manager Resham tried to ensure that we should have a pleasant stay in the hotel. Food prepared by Chef Vishal was awesome. It was a valentine's week but still hotel staff organized a special surprise birthday party for my daughter and their gesture made her birthday special and memorable which we can never forget. I would definitely recommend this hotel for stay if you are a vegetarian and like to have good food. The choice of menu is also different. Not to forget Calungute beach is hardly 800 metres which is easily accessible. Thank you Ibis Styles for making our stay pleasant and memorable

The property is not worth the price we paid. The overall look of the property was average. Management was also not very good. They were unable to meet the demand for the complementary breakfast on peak time. Rooms smelled as they have been locked for long.

The hotel location is ideal as it's walking distance from local amenities. The beach and the town centre are both about 10-15 minutes walk in different direction. Ibis provide transport to the beach one way, but you have to walk back. Took transport first time to get dropped off but walked both ways after that. Hotel is in good condition, newly built and staff are friendly. Fast food joints are available on the main road and the the area gets quite dark after 8-9 pm, once the shops closes on the main road. Follow the narrow road leading upwards on the right when you come out of the hotel. People are friendly and helps you with direction.

We really liked this hotel, but couples be warned that it is a VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY property. Given that, the staff was excellent, the food good and the location perfect for us.

A memorable vacation at Ibis
As I reached Ibis Styles, a warm welcoming staff made us feel at home and till the check in formalities were under progress, they kept us busy with welcome drinks, clicking family photographs, offered toys for my kid and kept him busy too. A perfect receiption under Adhithyen Gurumoorthy and special compliments to Budhadev for his dedicated efforts to comfort us. I was surprised with their warm gesture, when I entered my room a beautiful thanking note was on the table for serving my country (being in Army) along with scrumptious bebinca. Truly said - "Come in and let us surprise you" I stayed in Room 310. A specially designed and conceptualised room by Prathamesh Mane on Theme - Usain Bolt and I appreciate and value the emotions with which it was fantabulously designed. Staying in this room is a treat in itself with a magnificent view of the pool, green and serene surroundings. It is a beautiful property with two well maintained pools, Kids play area, restaurant, gymnasium, etc... Free shuttle services to Tivai beach and bicycles can be taken for easy conveyance. The Spiceit restaurant kept us stomach happy with variety of food for breakfast. Special thanks to Yaii and Vijay. The hotel is Child - friendly and my lil one had a real great time. The staff here is very helpful, cheerful and always with a smile. Thank you for making our vacations memorable.
