"I booked this property through VRBO for October 10–13, 2025 after months of communication with the owner.A week before check-in, I went to see the house as agreed, but the owner stopped replying when I was on my way and never showed up. The property was open, unattended, and appeared abandoned, with a large number of rubbish bags left everywhere, some torn open—likely by animals—with rotting waste spread around the property. The pool was completely green with algae, posing serious health and safety concerns, and the house was dirty and not habitable.On the day and time of check-in, the owner did not contact me. I returned to the property: despite minor improvements, it was still in awful condition and far from what was advertised.I immediately contacted VRBO to request a refund. Nearly four months later, I still have no refund and no resolution, and no alternative accommodation was offered. VRBO should have provided immediate support.Extremely disappointing experience. I do not recommend this property, and this has seriously affected my trust in VRBO."

"What didn’t like: The hotel insisted on charging €30 a day for an infant (7month old), €150 for the trip. While the hotel has excellent facilities for children (1 year+) it does not cater at all babies. Aside from bottle warmers in the dining areas and the common courtesy of a cot in the room & high chair, there was nothing else. None of the toilets throughout the village had baby changing facilities and of course the food options were not applicable. The premium restaurant was also inaccessible for push chairs (stairs only, no elevator). The additional cost was excessive and in bad faith with that in mind. What we did like: Our room was pristine, a decent size and the shower (which is key measure for me in a hotel) was really great. The staff, especially around the dining areas were generally excellent. Friendly and courteous to us with our minimal/bad Italian and amazing with our child. The food was great, probably as good or better than the food we had outside of the resort, especially in the Mirto(?) restaurant. The selection was large, fresh and varied from day to day, better than we initially expected from a half board."

"Beautiful location with property overlooking view to beach. Room comfortable and nice. Entertainment in bar area at nights was great. Great breakfast. Dinner option is only at one restaurant on site. We ate there only one night and found it disappointing. Very tiny portions and nothing special about the selections we had.When compared with the exceptional breakfast the dinners are poor. Service is great though."
