Just a few short minutes away are restaurant. Although there are lots of cars and honking, the hotel rooms are relatively quiet. The only downsides experienced was there is no maid service everyday, so I had to ask for new towels each day. It is located in the heart of Cairo and is extremely convenient; if you are looking for somewhere quiet to stay then this is not the place as it is located on the main high street. The hotel is located on the 4th and 6th floor of an old apartment block. The apartment block is very old and could do with a revamp. The lobby area of the hotel is on the 4th floor and some rooms are also located here; the lobby is very dark and needs better lighting. We stayed on the 6th floor which was much newer and had a nice kitchen area. The rooms are very big with high ceilings and they are clean. The most frustrating thing about the hotel were the en-suite bathrooms. Water was unpredictable and sometimes did not work which was very annoying.
