Three big rooms, great living area overlooking Trinity Beach and an amazing pool to relax in after looking around the Cairns area. We have stayed in Cairns several times and this has been by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. Normally you have to go to a shop as soon as you check in to a place but this place was full of everything from garbage bags to soap and shampoo.. great! From initial booking until after we left the unit, Matthew (the owner) was available to us to answer any questions we had. The unit itself was lovely and comfortable and exactly as it appeared in the photos (and that's rare). It had every appliance you could want or need and the beds were very comfortable. It's the ideal location - literally across the street from the ocean and the best spot in the entire complex. Sitting on one of the 2 balconies, we were able to instantly relax as we listened to the crashing and splashing of the ocean waves. We loved it so much, we decided to extend our stay by an additional 2 days, but unfortunately, the unit was booked and we had to vacate. We were able to secure another unit in the complex and quite frankly - that unit didn't measure up to the Beach Shack; it didn't even come close. If I ever go to Cairns again, the Beach Shack is the only place I'd stay. I would even schedule my trip dates around this unit's availability.
