We tried Jim’s seafood by the lake Barkley state marina and it was delicious. We also rented a boat to cruise the lake. We also tried the Tap house in between the lakes in grand river Kentucky and the food was awesome. We really enjoyed driving around and seeing the birds, deer and buffalo. We had a great time and the house we stayed in was very nice and close to the activities we wanted to do. Thank you. ##### Ryan W. The listing & pictures aren’t fully accurate regarding the beds, but there was plenty of space forour family. The dining area was a nice bonus. I did try to contact the owner to ask if there was an ice machine, but got no answer… there is not, but were a couple of ice trays for freezing. The water was notably good, which isn’t always the case in that area. The signage to not put anything down the drains, including toilet paper was concerning, but only real complaint that we had was the a/c … there is a nest thermostat & we’re pretty sure that whomever had remote control of it was turning it off completely during the day when we were out & on two nights (it was in excess of 80 degrees several times when we returned to the house & got very hot during two nights & each time we had to turn the a/c back on) - we were keeping the temp within the range required in the house binder, so it was frustrating to be so hot repeatedly. ##### Abby W. Spider webs in corners and things like that. But I will say we had an issue with one of the beds and Mike took care of it immediately.
