obtained lodging due to an emergency situation Was later getting back to retrieve belongings (again due to this same emergency situation) My Belongings were held as ransom for another nights room rental. The hotel was not full on this date. Spoke with GM and she refused to release my personal belongings until the ransom was paid.

Meh...

I chose this room over another because it was a little more expensive- hoping that would mean it was a little nicer. I couldn't have been more wrong. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. But the stairwell smelled like cigarette smoke, our beds were as hard as a rock, there was hair in the towels from the laundry and all over the shower stall and a huge wad of hair in the drain. The breakfast consisted of cereal, honey buns, toast, etc. Nothing hot unless you wanted a microwaved bagel. Wifi was not that great. Not the worst place to stay at, but it was not worth $100.

This hotel is old and rundown. I expected better better with a 3.8 rating and a $90 price tag.

Bed was so firm it felt like stone.

If you enjoy feeling like you are about to be sacrificed on a stone table, this place is for you! I am not all that picky. After all, when I get to my hotel I go right to sleep (usually) and don't require amenities. I did not get a good night sleep here.

No frills but a good clean place to stay

Needed a place to stay overnight. Late Check in and the lady was extremely nice in the evening as well as the morning. Rooms were clean and hotel seemed pretty clean. For the location I thought the price was a little on the high side but it was a nice stay for what we needed.

Keep driving past this one

Old hotel that needs updating. Beds were like a rock, even my 8 year old said his back hurt when he got up. Only stayed because it was late and nothing else in the area. Breakfast consisted of toast and cereal. This hotel is a value if you pay $49 a night, but we paid $129 so I had higher expectations. Only positive is that we had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed (which had trash under it when we pulled the bed out) so everyone had a bed. In the daylight hours, we did find more hotels about 20 minutes down the road that were not listed on hotels.com, skip this hotel and find another.

Said I booked last 3 rooms but we were only ones

Not worth money. Breakfast non existent. Told my friend I did not book his room and charged him then refused to refund so instead of 2 rooms had to pay for 3 which reall did not need Never again!!!!!!!!

The Hotel on the Hill

I stayed here one night so the next morning I could attend a meeting in Mountain Grove. The A/C was good in the room, as was the Flat Screen TV. The floor and the chair in the room were dirty. The bed was very comfortable. Quiet location. If you want something hot for breakfast, you are going to have to eat elsewhere in the morning. Great staff.

Great Clean Inn!!!

Just a quick overnight stay. The front desk was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The only thing I could complain about is there needs to be a hook or something close to the tub to hold your towel. Other than that it was a great room!

Clean but uncomfortable!!!

Hotel was clean. Bed was like a sleeping on a rock. Linens were clean but very rough. Got there earlier then check in time and would not let me check in. So I had to carry my luggage around with me the first day.

No hilton

Soap bar was tiny both sink and shower. Breakfast was minimal at best. I had to leave unexpectedly and could only stay one of my two night reservation but was charged for two nights anyway.

NICE PLACE FOR GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP

JUST AN OVERNIGHT SLEEP TRAVELING THRU BUT, THE STAFF WERE EXTRA HELPFUL CALLING TO SEE IF WE NEEDED ANY EXTRA LINENS SINCE I HAVE TO SLEEP IN A CHAIR DUE TO BACK INJURY. VERY NICE AND CLEAN. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.

Not worth $88!

I wish I would've looked into this motel more. We had a last minute change in plans and we decided to stop mid way in our travels. The pictures they show online dont even look loke the place. The building looks better and its not. All the siding is warped. In the pictures it shows what looks like a breakfast bar and it wasnt even set up like that nor was there breakfast or coffee. You could buy water for $1 I dont know about anything else. Ot was behind the counter. When we pulled up the outside lights were on, but the lobby lights were off. It looked like the place was shut down. It was 10pm but still the ones I usually stay at are on amd atleast look opened. I literally thought maybe we had the wrong motel even tho it had the same name. The room was clean but it was just outdated and not what I expected. There were only a few other people staying there. I was so worried I was going to wake up and my car would be gone or broken into. I just was very uneasy about the place and not comfortable at all. My fiance felt the same way. Houston, Mo is not far down the road from Cabool. Save your self $30 and go stay there or atleast get what your paying $88 for. So disappointed I spent that much on such an uncomfortable and not very nice place. No amenities. No breakfast.
