Trails Lodge is a 2-bedroom 1-bathroom log cabin located on the popular Lake Namakagon. It is the perfect Northwoods cabin with a screened porch, breathtaking views and a private dock. This property is perfect for the romantic getaway or the adventuresome who want to enjoy all the natural amenities the Northwoods has to offer. Bike, snowmobile and ATV trails can be accessed from this cabin. No need to haul and unload. There is something for everyone at Trails Lodge. Home Layout and Details: Sleeps 4 in beds Up to 6 people allowed Upper Floor Bedroom with queen bed (Sleeps 2) Bedroom with queen bed (Sleeps 2) Main Floor Living Area - Sofa, 2 Lounge Chairs, flat-screen TV, Sleeper couch (Sleeps 2) Dining - Table Seating for 6 Full Bathroom with Shower/Tub Combo, Full size washer and dryer Screened porch with patio furniture Remote operated gas fireplace For those rainy days, the living room has a TV equip with streaming services run by the cabins WIFI. There is a screened in front porch to watch the beautiful sunsets bug free. Unwind at the outside fire pit at the end of the night. (Please bring your own firewood). The private dock is located across the road. The boat launch is just down the road if you plan to bring your own boat. Lake Namakagon is a popular lake for fishing. It is known for Walleye, Musky, Crappie and Northern fishing. . Food and gas are easily accessible on the lake. The Loon Saloon convenience store is located just down the road for any of your last minute needs. We are affiliated with a local boat rental company. Let us know if you are interested in a boat rental as well! Namakagon is home to highly rated ATV and snowmobiling trails that you can access right from the door. The cable area is well known for the Birkebeiner cross-country ski trails. There is also access to hiking, biking and snowshoeing trails just up the road. There are recreational activities for everyone! We provide all linens including blankets and towels. The rate is based on 4 people. Maximum occupancy is 6 people. An additional $25.00 per person per night after 4 people will be charged. Pets are allowed. Liability Waiver: You understand that swimming and the use of kayaks is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming and the use of kayaks. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and the use of the kayaks and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming and the use of kayaks may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person swims or uses the kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. They accommodated us for early check-in so we could get to a wedding on time. The only bummer was lack of a/c on the first night (which has to have been one of the hottest nights of the year!). Was not an issue for long, because they were onsite within a couple hours of me notifying them. They were prompt, apologetic, totally professional,and remedied the issue in short order. Also the lake is pretty awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend them or this cabin to anyone. ##### Owen C. Only one miscommunication, probably a typo - VRBO site shows home has air conditioning but house does not have AC. While it was cool and we did not need it, if someone would need it for allergy/asthma reasons, it would not be available. I believe this was probably just a mistaken entry as everything else was above expectations. Would stay again. ##### Julie P. Very clean and comfortable cabin. After long days of exploring the many things to do in the area it was great to come back to this beautiful cabin. From the pier, to the fire pit to the comfortable beds,it truly was a perfect stay. ##### Michael B. Log walls and wood floors create the perfect Northwoods atmosphere. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the tools to prepare and serve whatever you like. The beds, couches, & chairs are all very comfortable. The screen porch is a great place to relax, read, & play games. The fire pit area in the back yard has plenty of chairs and a picnic table. Traffic was a little heavy due to Labor Day weekend, but did not create any issue crossing to the dock. We rented a boat from Bear Country Rentals and that worked out great. Our 8 year old son was just as happy fishing from the dock though! All in all my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the only thing we would change is next time we would stay longer.
