Beach Front Home, King Bed, Million Dollar Deckview, and Steps to the Beach

10/10 Excellent
"This is the best house! Teri, the owner, was quick to respond to messages. The house was clean, well stocked and it’s decorated so cute. The king size bed was super comfortable. The view from the deck is amazing, it’s so quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!"

10/10 Excellent
"The staff, the grounds, the tubs and the experience are all 5 very big stars in my world and in the universe I inhabit. We have been the before and will continue to return because of its special relativity to the value of the dollar and the uniqueness of the property. There are many warm, hot and cold springs in T or C, but I wouldn’t pay an extra cent to see past the front gates. The Pelican Spa has a nostalgic charm that newer spas can’t create even with fancy exotic wooden gates and “plastic”stained glass clerestory embellishments. The smoking area and sitting garden are ample in size and comfortable to the most discerning fanny. The rooms have character rarely seen since the glory days of hot springs and the Roosevelt years. It’s fun, it’s cute, leave your ego and the door and get ready to be soothed, relaxed and set into euphoria, with the lithium waters that flow from their taps. Oh, and for $82 a night with soaking included, it’s the best price in town, in our opinion, there is no other rubs in T or C that we’d rather soak in!"

"I traveled to stay here the first weekend of October 2026. The best parts were the comfortable bed, pillows, and soft sheets. I appreciated the desert colors in the cabin. And the soaps in the bathroom smelled so lovely — I'd love to know where they get them! Small details like these were greatly appreciated after a long drive. If you're especially tall or large, the shower might be too small for you. I didn't know where the reception area was, if there is one, to ask questions. The downside to being the first cabin, though, is that you can hear every car passing by on its way to the other units. For some reason, the cost of the cabin changed from the first night to the second. I'm not sure why, and again, I didn't know where reception was to ask, and they don't seem to answer the listed phone number. Overall, I enjoyed our mostly peaceful stay in the quaint Cabin 1."

Dam Site Lodge

8/10 Good
"It's an older but well-maintained property, with ambiance a bit like an older hunting lodge - though the torrential rains did cause some building issues for them. There's communication issues between them and Expedia; check-in is expected by 4 pm, otherwise have to call directly - and the listed "minifridge" and "microwave" amenities are actually in a common kitchen area. A bit awkward, but the staff is quite accommodating. If you admire cactus and native flowering plants, the grounds are wonderful viewing. And of course, the prime location near the dam, boat ramps, etc."
