In the evenings, there was excessive noise from a music venue across the road (sometimes later than midnight). Upon arrival after 3pm, the cleaners were still in the house and we couldn’t get in until an hour later. The biggest drawback, however, is the inaccuracy of the listing. The description and the photos of the property suggest two bathrooms and a ground floor king bedroom. Both were not accessible but locked off. While the king bedroom is at least there, it is upstairs. The misrepresentation of the number of bathrooms is simply dishonest. After asking several times, we finally received a small refund. Also, the advertised dryer was only delivered after five days and repeated inquiries and the washing machine couldn’t be used because of a broken handle. We were offered to be reimbursed for taking our laundry to the laundromat in town. Once, the warm water supply stopped working due to an empty gas bottle. We had to call the property manager for instructions. Not a major issue but info could be provided in the guest booklet for immediate reference. Overall, it‘s a nice place which has almost everything you need, but be mindful of partially false specifications. ##### Guntram P.
