Heated pool. 5 mins from Dunsborough Town/Beach Set on 6.5 acres of natural bushland, this rural retreat is perfect for those looking for space and relaxation only 5 minutes from Dunsborough town. Enjoy the sparkly pool in warmer months, or gather round the firepit in cooler months. Cook a family BBQ and watch resident black cockatoos and kangaroos from the verandah with a spectacular forest backdrop. This brand-new 5 bed, 3.5 bath home offers year-round comfort with fully ducted aircon and indoor log fire. Disability access features. You will feel instantly at home in this 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house, boasting all the modern comforts. The open plan living/dining and fully equipped kitchen area is spacious and stylish, with hints of country charm. The kitchen boasts a butlers pantry and preparation area. The fireplace in the loungeroom is a beautiful feature and keeps the house cosy in winter. Every Room has fully ducted air-conditioning with heating and cooling functions which can be individually controlled in every room. A separate rumpus room at the front of the house is perfect for movies and board games. The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus an extra powder room. The main king bedroom, with a private entrance out to the outdoor pool and verandah area, has its own private ensuite, walk-in robe and TV. The queen bedroom, twin single bedroom and bunk room share the second bathroom and separate powder room. The 2nd king bedroom, with ensuite, has been thoughtfully designed to aid guests with access disabilities including widened door frames to the toilet and shower. This bedroom also has a wall mounted TV. The verandah has an outdoor lounge area, large dining table and BBQ, all overlooking grassed parkland and beautiful forest. There are various seating options in the pool area, including sun-loungers. Lawn games (some provided) can be enjoyed on one of the grassed areas or a game of pool in the fully enclosed garage. With over 6 acres to enjoy, you will not be short on space. Hotel quality linen is provided, as well as Eco Store brand hand and body soaps. Access: Guests can access all areas of the house except for two locked supply cupboards. All areas of the property are accessible to guests, except the shed and shed perimeters where some building material, equipment and machinery is stored. Please ensure children stay clear of this area. Other Things to Note: There is a limit of 8 adults plus 4 children at this property. After six guests, extra linen/ bedmaking fees are automatically applied to the booking of $20 per person, per night (in an effort to keep fees down for one family or couple stays.) It is important to ensure that the TOTAL number of guests are entered at time of booking so we can account for bed-making and linen requirements. If additional guests decide to join this booking at a later stage (within the maximum guest allowance) it is very important to let your host know of the changes with as much notice as possible (at least 5 days prior to you arrival). We provide a limited supply of firewood for the indoor fireplace only. BYO firewood for fire pit (Fire pit use permitted May-October only) Firewood can be purchased from most petrol stations. We allow guests to log into their own streaming channels so please bring your own log in details. BYO beach towels. Cotton Turkish towels are provided for the pool but you may wish to BYO as they are thin (for purposes of fast drying between check-ins). Noise - Noise travels far in tranquil neighbourhoods. Please have consideration for the neighbours and their children. No excessively loud music or rowdy behaviour will be tolerated. While evening family BBQ's are expected and encouraged, if you are looking for a party house, please keep looking as this property is not the right fit for you. No off-road vehicles such as dirt bikes and quad bikes of any description are permitted on this property. Fire Restrictions - There are strict fire restrictions in place in the Southwest for good reason. Strictly no fires to be lit between the months of November to May (this includes the indoor log fire and outdoor fire pit). No open, uncontained fires, such as bonfires, to be lit on this property at anytime of year, under any circumstances. Pets - Please note there is a fenced area for pets, however, we are not confident enough to advertise this space as completely escape-proof. We believe small dogs may squeeze under the fence, and dogs of all sizes may be able to dig their way out if left for periods unsupervised. The property backs onto Biddle Road which does have tendencies for high-speed traffic. Strictly no pets permitted in the pool or fenced pool area. Extra pool service fees will apply if there is evidence that dogs have been swimming in the pool. No pets are permitted on indoor or outdoor furniture and please keep pets out of any rooms with carpet. Guests must bring pets own bedding, food & water bowls and anything else they may need. No responsibility will be taken for pets by the property manager, True South Escapes or by the owners of this property. Bring your pets entirely at your own risk. No parties, events (including weddings) or leavers under any circumstances. Please do not ask. We don’t accept bookings for large adult groups. A strict maximum of 8 adult guests per booking (total of 12 guests - adults and children combined). No extra guests permitted overnight. No caravans, tents or campers permitted on the property. The property is not fenced and backs onto Biddle Road. Host Interaction: Chelsea, your host, is always available so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any queries or concerns before or during your stay. You will receive check-in details a few days before your arrival date and you will receive a message on the morning after arrival to check that you have settled in ok. The heated pool was sensational with a gorgeous backdrop. Large house happily accommodates everyone with a well equipped kitchen. Perfect mix between close to town and a country escape. The mattress in the 2nd king room might need replacing as it is starting to dip in the middle. Blockout blinds are needed in the master king as the sun shines in at sunrise at the sheers don't block it out. Other than that it is a perfect place. ##### Alana L. We loved the street and setting of the property. The house is large, more suited towards families but a great peaceful getaway for couples. Plenty of bedrooms but only one with an ensuite. The bed was comfortable with laundered linen which was fantastic. The master also had a tv in the bedroom which is surprisingly hard to find. There was no blind in the ensuite which meant the morning sun lit up the room rather early - not great for a sleep in. Also not great if someone wants a shower in summer and others are in the pool as the window backs onto the pool area. Hubby enjoyed lighting the fire and we were supplied with plenty of firewood. We played a few games of pool on the pool table which was one of the reasons we booked this house. We found the quality in some areas a little sub-par than expected. Just tiny details we felt would have made the property fit the market/price range. The cutlery was terrible, perhaps bought at kmart/coles. The plates and coffee cups were also not great. The fridge was old and a little dirty. Had food left in the freezer and the fridge didn't keep things as cold (particularly in the doors) as it should. No hand towel holders in the ensuite and the bath towel rail was so small we could only fit one towel on it. The kitchen bins were tiny! We'd be emptying it every few hours if we were staying with family. Overall a nice stay but room for improvement. ##### Carolyn M.
