Beautiful Country Views, minutes from the sea The OPEN AT ROYAL PORTRUSH 2025 Our three-bedroom townhouse is ideal for families, groups of golfers or friends. We are pet friendly with a shared garden and grounds. The rear garden has a sun patio and BBQ area which gets the sun from 11am till just before sunset. The town house is modern, has full central heating and we provide for an open fire for winter visitors. There is one double bed room with ensuite, one twin bedroom and one twin bunk room (adult size). There is also a bathroom with a separate shower. The living room has a smart TV so you can get your Netflix account or link your computer to stream your choice of viewing and music system, the bunk room and main bedroom have TV sets. The Living room, dining area and kitchen are in one large open-plan room on the first floor with great views over the countryside. There is a separate Laundry Room. Portballintrae Cottage is located 5 minutes walk from the sea, harbour, nearest beach and restaurant. The Giant's Causeway is 20 minute's walk along the beach and headland. It is 8 minute's walk into Bushmills town which is the home of Bushmills Distillery (a must to visit), and is slightly larger than Portballintrae. It has a range of restaurants from fine dining to excellent cafes and coffee shops. Bushmills has a host of good shops with the best fruit & vegetable and the best butchers in the area. You are 8 minute's drive from the Giant's Causeway; Royal Portrush Golf Club and 5 more world-class courses are only 8 to a maximum of 20 mins drive away. Prices include all bedding, heating and energy costs. Causeway Cottages also has a stunning 5-star apartment in Portrush with amazing sea views. It was a great location to explore the coast and the cottage felt like home. Lyn was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants, places to visit and things to do in the area. It was quiet and peaceful and a 5 min walk to the beach. The nearby town of Bushmills was so quaint and had several good restaurants, coffee shops and shops. It was warm and cosy, light and airy and tastefully decorated throughout. The south facing patio area with table and chairs at the back of the house meant we could enjoy breakfast in the sunshine as well as evening aperitifs before the bbq (our weather was obviously good!). The cottage is perfectly situated for walks along Runkerry Beach, golf at Bushfoot Golf Club and tennis at the local municipal court in Portballintrea (PBT) - all of which we did! The owner, Lyn and his agent in PBT, Tracey couldn’t have been more helpful with booking arrangements. I would definitely recommend the property and hope to stay in it again. ##### Sheila J. It provided easy access to the Causeway, hiking trails, Bushmills, the ocean etc. Lyn was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. Given 4 of us were seniors, we would not recommend this as a place for 6 adults, rather, it would be better suited for a family with children.
