Grand breakfast and dinner and not far to walk to the centre of Bury St Edmunds. The location of the hotel was really good, around a ten minute walk to a big (and cheap) car park, as well as the town centre. Staff were very friendly - at all times of the day. Room was clean and a good size. The breakfast was amazing so there was no need to eat lunch. Shame there was no parking but long stay car park was only a 10 minute walk. Points faibles : Service et personnel #### Mostly good! A lovely place to stay. Lots of character with a lovely food menu. checking in was good with friendly staff. The room was big with everything you need. very comfortable bed. It was a warm night but a nice fan if a bit loud was supplied. Next morning went down for breakfast, this unfortunately was not great. We were told that there was a bit of a wait for the cooked breakfast so we helped ourselves to some cereal and juice. which was nice. The rest of the breakfast turned up at least 30 mins later which looked ok but was a cold so a bit of a shame.. Points faibles : Confort de la chambre #### Cooling fan noise. The hotel room was comfortable but the continuous noise outside our window kept us awake. Nice buffet and evening meals were good quality. Staff a bit rushed but very helpful and friendly. Pub is very smart with a nice touch being fresh dalias on the tables. Only negative is that parking could be a problem as it is on street and quite busy.
