"We had an amazing stay at Essence Hotel! The room was beautiful, spotless, and had a modern bathroom with great products. Check-in was smooth — reception even waited for us to arrive as we were running a bit late, which was so thoughtful. "Fantastic place to stay when in Tewantin. Rooms are newly renovated with all mod cons (even dressing gowns!), in excellent condition and well presented, very clean and tidy, obviously well maintained. The pub itself is excellent with various bars and beer gardens, being able to stay there makes it even better. Next time I'm in Tewantin, I'll stay at Royal Mail again. Highly recommended."

The entry to the doom is very dark which is not a very impressive first impression. Restaurant is good though. Food is good quality. Our room says ocean view but not ocean at all. "

"We absolutely loved this place! Stayed in a safari tent and it couldn't have been nicer. It was spotless with a beautiful comfy bed, huge bathroom with claw-foot bath, and very spacious balcony with lounge chairs and a webber! Reception was very friendly and welcoming, the pool was fantastic, and it was also very convenient to have the on-site restaurant. We only stayed 2 nights but could easily have stayed a week!"

"The staff here are phenomenal. Phenomenal. When we arrived, we were having trouble with our WiFi. Renata and Bela could not have been more helpful, thorough, and accommodating. In my experience at most hotels, if you have a problem with the internet, the staff usually kind of shrug. Not Renata and Bela. They swung into action identifying the problem and then ended up moving us to be to a closer router. They really went above and beyond in my estimation and saved what could have been a disappointing stay. Thanks to them both. On top of that the rooms here are good sized, spic and span and well equipped."

"Communication about our stay was very good, the room was clean and well presented, our room was close to the pool and cafe, the pool was beautiful and the reception said had recently been renovated, we ate breakfast at the cafe and was delicious. "
