Very nice stay for a low price.

My son goes to College in Mt. Pleasant and we go to see him on the weekends. We were needing a hotel and the one we normally go to was full, so we thought we would try the Heidelburg Motel and if was terrible we would not go back. This is a no-frills hotel but they state that upfront. They are currently doing some remodeling but it did not affect our stay. We were just looking for a cheap hotel in the area so we were not really expecting much, but we were surprised at how nice and clean the room was. The owner was very nice during check-in and he let us know if we needed anything to let him know. Now you have you remember this is a no-frills hotel, so there was no pool or breakfast but the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. For the price and how good the room was, we will be going back.

Nice place

Large room with a full size refrigerator and microwave. This motel is not fancy but it is a comfortable place to stay with extremely friendly management.

Please Don't Stay Here..I have photos!!

It was the most disgusting stay I've ever experienced!!! It was filthy, old and should not be rented until it is renovated!!!

The hotel room was cheap but not very truthful. Was told that there was 1 standard Queen bed n 1 standard double bed. Both beds looked the same size. The bathroom did look disgusting, like it hasn't been cleaned.

It is a dump

Our room was modern - per 1930's standards. The beds were poor, the carpet threadbare and dirty. The front desk never returned any calls. The AC window unit was very noisy. The shower drain was barely functioning. The parking lot was bizarre. The furnishings inside were worse than thrift shop junk.

Easy access from primary highway

Easy access from main highway and easy access to Amtrak train. Good for single guy that just needed a place to stay overnight. Seemed to be older place that's not bad but could use a little updating.

Not what we were expecting

We had two rooms for our family at this motel. The rooms both smelled musty. The bedding looked as old as the building. There were holes in the blanket on one of the beds. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The carpet was dirty.
