The access is separate from the bar which adds to the quietness. The host was awesome and the room spacious, attractive and very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent! Bathroom was tiny but well-appointed. There was a strong odor that made it hard for both of us to sleep. Also, on Expedia, we signed up for a full breakfast. When we arrived, the hotel said it had no record of our request for breakfast. We ate dinner at their restaurant. The food was good, However, it was the only restaurant that we found in Ireland that put a Mandatory Tip (10%) on the bill for our meal. Otherwise the property was quaint and comfortable. Quiet clean room, nice bathrooms, well organized. More like a B&B as the staff is mostly running the pub and there's not a concierge or anything fancy. It's a fine place to stay though and on a great street with lots to do within walking distance (plus grocery stores, pharmacy, etc). The managers here do an especially great job and we're very helpful.
