Our family has been farming in Bundaberg for 163 years, since 1870\. This tiny house offers privacy with no children allowed. Guests can enjoy a pool area, barbecue facilities, and a fire pit. Conveniently located near Bundaberg’s iconic attractions—the Bundaberg Rum Distillery (1.5 km) and the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Barrel Tourist Centre (2 km)—it’s also just 10 minutes from Bargara Beach and 4 km from the CBD. #TinyHouseQueensland #HolidayHomes The Space: Sweet Retreat by Tiny Away is a charming tiny house located in the peaceful suburbs of Bundaberg, just an hour from Hervey Bay. Nearby coastal spots like Coral Cove, Burnett Heads, and Elliot Heads offer great fishing, beach walks, and swimming, plus Moore Park Beach, a sea turtle nesting site. Among Queensland unique holiday homes, our retreat sits on a lush paddock with beautiful river views, a small orchard, and seasonal crops. The farm stay features a spacious pool and a barbecue area, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. Guest Access: Guests can access the tiny home, pool area, and paddock. However, they will have restricted access to the two other houses, the shed, and barn. We advise guests that they are not allowed in the pool area after 9 PM as it is a shared space/area of the property. The Neighborhood: Experience the perfect getaway at Sweet Retreat by Tiny Away in Bundaberg, just an hour from Hervey Bay. Our cozy holiday homes are close to top attractions like the Bundaberg Rum Distillery and the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Barrel. Explore the southern Great Barrier Reef at Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliott Islands, or relax on nearby beaches like Bargara and Elliott Heads. Don’t miss the Mon Repos Turtle Centre, the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, and the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens. Local highlights include stunning Bargara Beach, the famous turtle conservation at Mon Repos, beautiful Coral Cove, exclusive rums at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery, and the scenic Bundaberg Botanic Gardens. Getting Around: By car: \- 1 hr drive from Hervey Bay \- 14 mins drive from Coral Cove \- 20 mins drive from Elliot Heads \- 16 mins drive from Burnett Heads \- From Brisbane, it is 362 km It takes approximately 4h 35m to drive from Bundaberg to Brisbane at the moment the main highway is having upgrades so there can be delays. All are reachable by 2WD and well 4wd can go to most places. By public transport: We would like to inform our guests that there is no public transport that travels directly to our property.
