Situated in the heart of Palermo Soho between Plaza Serrano and Plaza Armenia, the location simply could not be better! The apartment complex is an architectural landmark that combines convenience, style and wonderful open spaces. Surrounded by boutiques and cafés, it reclines on a leafy street and is designed to let light pour in from every direction. A central court provides elevator access to the apartment. Further back, a tranquil garden and in-ground swimming pool rest behind ivy-covered walls. A live-in doorman provides excellent building security. The penthouse is very bright and comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in an abundance of natural light and fresh air. The decor features antique, rustic and modern furnishings that are representative of Argentina and several paintings by a local artist. Surfaces are finished in clean, natural materials. The apartment covers over 1000 sq. ft (100 sq. m). Two en-suite bedrooms are situated on opposite ends to give privacy. In between you will find living, dining, and study areas, an open-plan kitchen, access to a covered balcony and an interior stairwell to the private terrace. It is the perfect floor plan for families with children, couples travelling together and anyone who loves socializing. As a testament to its comfort and functionality, the apartment is often rented for weeks at a time and has several repeat guests who consider it their ‘home-away-from-home’. The living room features a spacious sofa, HDTV with extensive cable package (BBC, CNN, Fox etc.) and a wood-burning fireplace. The dining table has seating for six and a wonderful view. The study area includes a 3-metre work desk and berths for two people, a printer, fax, local phone and Vonage international phones. High quality stainless steel pots and pans will please the travelling chef, and a Nespresso coffee machine will keep all coffee lovers happy. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten jeglicher Art. Restaurants und Bars auch. Es ist auch ein sehr lautes Viertel. Kopfsteinpflaster Straßen, Müllabfuhr um 23 Uhr, Restaurants und Kneipen haben bis 3 Uhr auf. Also kein Ort um mit offenen Fenster schlafen zu können. Ich muss aber dazu sagen: Buenos Aires ist einfach laut. Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Viertel. Die Dachterrasse ist super. Die Wohnungen gut geschnitten. Aber sie ist auch schon gut benutzt worden. In die Badewanne willst du dich nicht reinlegen. Ein paar mehr Kleiderbügel würde auch nicht schaden. Die Gardinen sollten mal gewaschen werden. Ein definitiver Pluspunkt ist die Waschmaschine. 3,5 von 5 Punkte ##### Stefan R. The rooftop was the highlight for my son! Great location, near everything and once in the apartment iyou don't hear the busy street below. This apartment photographs well, is located in a trendy but noisy-at-night neighborhood, and had outstanding property management by Mayra. It is time, however, to spend some money to upgrade the furniture and mattress and to repair the water leaks in the guest bath and above the staircase, which also leaked into the food prep area in the kitchen. One side of the master bed mattress has caved in and has a distinct sunken hole in it - it needs to be replaced. The sofa has "bottomed out" and has no support whatsoever - it also needs to be replaced. Some panels of the sheer curtains and blackout curtains are torn or dirty and also need to be replaced, as do the inoperable kitchen blinds. There are items shown in the photographs or on the inventory list that are no longer in the apartment, unfortunately for us as one of the deciding factors in booking this apartment was the very comfortable-looking, white upholstered chairs that have been replaced with hard chairs. The big white sofa cushions shown in the photo are missing; they would be useful for back support on this deep couch. The terrace lounge chairs are different than what is at the apartment now and actually look more comfortable than the wooden lounge chairs with thin pads there currently. Also missing from the inventory list were: the pay-as-you go cellphones, alarm clocks, deluxe hairdryer, and stationery (pencils, pens, markers, scissors, tape, glue). The gas range was disconnected temporarily and replaced with a portable, 2-burner electric cook top, which worked for small pans/pots only. Only one of the two small safes in the master bedroom can be accessed. Mayra was very responsive to our needs and worked very efficiently and effectively to resolve issues. Among other things she replaced the broken international phone, which was very useful during our stay. She also replaced a rusted clothes drying rack. She provided a missing Nespresso machine and part; brought towels to mop up leaks from the rainstorms; and scheduled maintenance to begin leak repairs and to replace burned out light bulbs. The general cleanliness of the apartment was good, although it could do with a "second level" in-depth cleaning, to include the dining room light fixture with dead insects and the greasy aluminum mini-blinds in the kitchen. We were surprised that there were no mattress pads on the beds and that the master bed mattress showed several large yellow stains through the sheets. ##### Robert H. The location is fabulous to enjoy shopping, restaurants, catching the hop on hop off bus tours, or just walk to parks and explore. There is awesome nightlife within walking district and no problem to find grocery stores if you are inclined to cook. Would definitely recommend this apt which is very secure. ##### Teresa S. Central to shopping, restaurants and activities. Clean, neat, spacious. The two ensuite bedrooms were very comfortable with individual AC units. The rooftop patio overlooked the area and was wonderful for a morning coffee or evening cocktail. Excellent!! ##### Mark D.
