It is very close to the town ‘s Main Street, a few restaurants Hannaford, and Fort Knox and the observatory. Three of us had a very nice stay at the apartment. It was the perfect size, well arranged, and very accessible. It is a little far away from Acadia it takes an hour and a half depending on traffic. We stayed one month and ate in many nights. The kitchen is pretty well equipped for long term stays and there is a gas range. This is an old house with all the quirks old homes have, but it has recently been renovated and was very comfortable. TV is not live but we plugged it in to my computer and were able to watch all my subscription online channels. Location is excellent for coastal explorations both up and down the coast. Less than 1 hour from Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula. Every time we made a request of the host it was fulfilled instantly. Owners live upstairs and were very friendly and respected our privacy.
