We had a wonderful stay in Mill Cottage. Nigel was very helpful and wanted to make sure that everything was how we wanted for our stay. There was a super welcome basket with all the essentials. Buckfastleigh has a great selection of shops and it is a perfect location for heading out onto the moors. The bed linen was fabulous, the cottage was warm. The garden is lovely, completely secure for the dogs. My only suggestion would be a better gate between the kitchen and living room to stop the dogs going through, nothing else could be faulted. We will most definitely be back. I noticed someone else's review mentioned noise. We didn't hear a sound from any other property for the whole week so don't let that put you off. I nice quiet place to stay. Plenty of room in this traditional cottage. We were blessed with gorgeous weather. Although there are walks around Buckfastleigh it is best to take a car and a map for longer walks. All in all our staycation was good as we normally go abroad at this time of year and will hope to visit the area again. We had a lovely time at Mill Cottage. The ease of getting to a decent A road and thereby ease of travelling further afield was brilliant for our holiday. The vehicular entrance to this beautifully quaint cottage was tight, however the parking through a secure gate was a pleasant surprise.
