This brand new mountain retreat (finished in March 2018) is unique and incomparable. Cooper’s Ridge is perched at 3400 ft elevation and offers a breathtaking view, seclusion and privacy, yet is close to all necessary amenities. It is just 15 minutes to Bryson City. This is not the typical, many-times-seen, wooden cabin.
Cooper’s Ridge is a spacious (approximately 2000 sqft), luxurious, open-floorplan house, which perfectly combines modern and traditional elements and blends beautifully into the mountain setting. Situated in a gated community with property sizes of at least 2 acres, the scenic drive to the top of the world is completely paved. To keep the charm, only the driveway to the house is graveled, and an all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended!! The great room, with its 17 ft high vaulted ceiling and huge wall of south-facing windows, makes sure that you can catch and enjoy the views all day long. Here you can relax either in front of the pass-through gas fireplace (with remote control) on comfortable leather rocking chairs or gather with your family or friends on the plush leather sofas and chaise. There is a 65“ 4k LED SmarTV in the great room. Bring your passwords and enjoy streaming services to unwind from the exciting adventures of the day. The custom kitchen has granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy cooking with and for your family and friends. Small appliances such as blender, mixer, hand mixer, coffee machine or toaster are from Kitchen Aid. There is also a large Crockpot and a rotating square belgian waffle maker available for your convenience. All dishes, silverware, etc. are available 12 times so you don’t need to worry about running out of it too quickly. The dining room offers a huge dining table with comfortable leather chairs. Also from the kitchen and dining you can enjoy the warmth and coziness of the see through fireplace.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has a king size bed, is uniquely decorated and equipped with a 4k LED SmarTV sized between 43“ and 49“. In all bedrooms the lights can be dimmed to a level that suits your needs and in two bedrooms an adjustable color mood light system is available as well. Both bathrooms have a luxurious European-style double vanity with granite countertops, vessel sinks and high-quality European faucets from Hans Grohe. They also both have fully tiled showers and are equipped with European rainshower systems. The spa-like master bathroom features an oversized, freestanding soak-in bathtub. A hair dryer and an LED magnifying shaving mirror is available in each bathroom. For the powder room you can of course expect the same high quality standards. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer from Whirlpool, iron and ironing board as well as a first-aid kit.
Outside, Cooper’s Ridge offers an almost 60 ft wide deck which extends the complete width of the house and can be accessed from the great room and two of the bedrooms through the oversized sliding doors. The center part of the deck is fully covered by the extended roof to offer enough shade during the hot summer midday sun. If it’s getting to hot on the south facing deck, the cozy covered entry porch faces north with additional outside space. For passionate BBQ enthusiasts a gas grill from Weber will satisfy your needs. A spare propane tank is included. And if your body needs soothing after a day of hiking, mountain biking or white water rafting, you can pamper yourself in the luxury hot tub. It offers a unique side-by-side lounge and Adirondack chair and multi-level seating. It makes this spa fun, functional and therapeutic. Two high performance pumps combined with "variable volume induction" system power 50 multi-functional jets for optimum massage therapy. It’s also equipped with a bluetooth stereo system and deluxe LED perimeter lighting, illuminated fountain jets and cup holders.

Wonderful

This property was nice and clean. Very quiet outside. The view was lovely. Star gazing at night by the fire pit was amazing. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. The driveway was very steep, but we made it fine in a 2WD Tundra TRD with positraction. Put it in low gear, go steady, and don't stop!
Everything was excellent 👌
The only thing s is the driveway of the house 🏠.. is a little bit dangerous for the altitude and the gravel.. but we travel with a Dodge Ram Truck and we took time but after the 1st time it was a little bit more easy to drive..
Thanks 😊
We have a wonderful stay ❤
Definitely we will come back..

Nice place kind of mismanaged
Watershed refused to let us in No earlier than 5 pm regardless us arriving early form a long drive, because of it being cleaned. They messaged places we could use our time like getting groceries which we did. So when we arrived at the cabin we had to go up and down the mountain because the gate would not open… come to find out the gate was wrong that they sent us. Finally got to cabin about 6 pm with 250$ worth of groceries to find out the stove, fridge, and microwave outsides were filthy my mom cleaned them🙄… and we received no kinda of courtesy call to find out if we finally got into the home…. Smh. We got the gate code from a friendly neighbor. The bath tub spicket did not work and the canopy bed blocked the view of the main bedrooms tv…. Lol.
My husband and I spent the weekend here! It was a beautiful home and we had a blast in Bryson City! The driveway is steep, but Watershed Cabins did a great job giving a heads up about that. They also gave great directions to get to the house. We would love to come back!

Fantastic view
Excellent view. Very modern & comfortable. Ample pots/pans/dishware. A few glass pyrex style baking dishes would have helped (only 1, about 9x9”, was there). We had to wash several kitchen items prior to use. Master shower was not well cleaned (hair). Listing should better describe bathroom layout. It states 2 and 1/2 baths. Actually there is a full master bath. The other bath is a shower and vanity adjacent to a half-bath. This should really be described as 2 full baths, not 2 and 1/2 baths. The location and view were fantastic. Steep drive up the mountain.
We had a wonderful time during our recent stay. The house was wonderful and the views were fantastic. A highlight was sitting in the hot tub at dusk watching the sun disappear behind the mountains and the sky turn colors and then watch that stars slowly brighten. Gorgeous!
