Beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was great. There were tons of games and toys for the kids to play with. The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. We had to contact the rental property once about the electric fireplace but they responded so quickly and came and fixed it. He was so helpful and very courteous. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. Nov 14, 2023 #### Review of Bear Trot Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice furniture and beds.Clean and instructions on use of dishwasher and other products meant that all dishes had to be washed by dishwasher detergent and not enough kitchen linens. Reviewer Comments: I was absolutely blown away by this house. We were there for a week of riding motorcycles & this was the perfect house the four for us. From the hot tub to the fire pit and all the amenities inside were perfect. Screened in porch area was great while we waited for the rain to stop. The layout was perfect for 2 families to each have separate areas and the dividing play area was the icing on the cake. The home was fully stocked with everything you need and the decorations made us feel right at home. One bedroom unfortunately had either ants or termites crawling in from the ceiling, but the rental agency sent someone out to spray and that appeared to solve the problem.
