There were activities for the kids, great dining options and smores in the evening. The kids tent was a little too far from the main tent for them to sleep in by themselves so we had to split and put one parent and one child in each. The tent for the kids also had no heating so was very cold in the morning. I had to take my family in the morning to my car to turn the Heater on,because I couldn’t handle how cold it was in the tent. It was terrible! The staff was great and the food they had was good too. My girlfriend is not a camper but she loved it. The bathroom was great with flushing toilet and the wood burning stove was great to keep us toasty warm. These are a fantastic experience and are usually so much more enjoyable and frankly upscale than any of the other usual local motels near national parks. S’mores In The evening is a great idea felt it was a bit too expensive but it’s well done considering it’s off the grid! Only critique is the chairs in the tent and the ones on the deck are not comfortable enough for lounging out relaxing in the peace and quiet and looking up at the stars which was the main thing for us - we want to rest but felt we couldn’t comfortably do that unless in bed. However given the setting i understand.
