Be a Good Human – Respect the House & Neighbors Treat this home like it’s your own (unless you leave dishes in the sink at home… then treat it better ). Be cool with our neighbors—no late-night karaoke battles or surprise drum solos. If something breaks, let us know! We’re nice, we promise, and we’d rather fix it now than find out later. Booking & Stay Requirements Age: You must be 21+ to book. Paperwork: A simple digital rental agreement must be signed before check-in. Extended Stays: Staying over 28 days? Awesome! Just give us a heads-up for extra approval. Pets & Smoking Pets: Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a $75 fee per pet. We love pups, but please clean up after them—even if they give you those sad puppy eyes. Smoking: Absolutely no smoking or vaping indoors. If you light up inside, the cleaning fee is $500 (it’s expensive to make a house stop smelling like an ashtray!). Outdoor Smoking: Totally fine! Parking (Don’t be that guest) Park only in our spacious driveway. No parking on the street, the lawn, or in neighbors' driveways. We want the neighbors to love us (and you!). Firepit & Grill – Safe & Savory! Firepit: Enjoy it, but never leave a fire unattended. Fully extinguish it before bed. (Observe local burn bans so we don't accidentally start a forest fire!). Grill: Clean up after grilling—no one likes a greasy surprise. Turn off the propane and let it cool before covering. WiFi & Tech Stuff Do NOT unplug the WiFi: It runs through 3 Netgear routers so you can stream, work, and TikTok in peace. If it acts up, message us first! Safety & Security Cameras: We have outdoor security cameras at the entrance/parking area for insurance. Privacy: The back deck camera is OFF during your stay. We have zero cameras inside because, frankly, we’re probably just snoozing through our own Ring notifications anyway. The "Same-Day Flip" & Check-Out Timing: Check-out is by 11:00 AM. The Reality: Because this house sleeps 14, our cleaning crew has a massive job to do to get it ready for the next guests. They are like a pit crew, and they need every minute! Unauthorized Late Check-Out: If you stay past 11:00 AM without asking, it costs $100 per hour. Flexibility: Need an extra hour or an early arrival? Just ask! If our calendar is open, we are usually happy to hook you up for free—it’s all about availability! The beds were very comfortable, more than any that I've ever stayed at. It was nice to have a fenced-in yard for our dogs. It was within 20 minutes of numerous restaurants, Walmart, and Kroger. The game room was a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed playing Pac-Man. The family room off the deck was nice and big, very comfortable, had a nice TV, and a great view. The house was perfect with plenty of space and comfy beds. The house is conveniently located to the Burnside marina where we were easily able to rent a slip. We enjoyed the deck and it’s wonderful view of the lake in the evenings with a glass of wine and in the morning with a cup of coffee. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walking the dogs. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus if traveling with dogs. We enjoyed the games in the basement when it rained. The hosts were absolutely phenomenal to work with and their number one priority was us having a pleasant stay! Would definitely rent this house again! ##### Desteni M. The home was clean, roomy, and perfectly situated for our stay. The view from the deck and the sunroom was perfect. I enjoyed the early morning peace sipping my coffee taking in the view of the sun coming up over the hills behind the lake. Everything was just as shown in the listing (or better) and the owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We look forward to our next stay! ##### Jeremy B. Like condiments already in the fridge, laundry detergent in the laundry room, etc. The house and property were very clean and the view of the lake was awesome. Tucked away in a very quiet area. Jordan checked in with us on Saturday morning and was easy to reach as needed. My wife loved cooking on the Blackstone. Would definitely book again. ##### Mike M.
