Evergreen is an immaculate 1 bedroom/1.5 bathroom farmhouse cabin in the heart of Hochatown (Broken Bow), OK, that sleeps 1-4 guests. We host many returning guests and many visitors have stated that this is their favorite cabin in the area. Whether you're here for a weekend escape or a longer stay, every detail has been curated to make your visit feel special. We are a top-ranked, VRBO Premier Host with over 5 years experience in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 AMAZING! This cabin made our trip absolutely unforgettable. The swing beds upstairs on the deck were awesome. Additionally, we enjoyed the hot tub beside the fire, listening to music and watching TV while relaxing. It's tucked away in a little cul-de-sac, which made it super romantic, but still close to town so going out to eat wasn't a problem. THE SPACE: Tucked beneath the towering 80-foot tall pines of Broken Bow/Hochatown, Evergreen is a one-bedroom modern farmhouse-style cabin - a private, soothing retreat made for rest, romance, and reconnecting. When you open the door to our professionally designed cabin, your spirit is calmed. The soothing color palette and cozy furnishings will make you want to stay indefinitely. Enjoy the diffused lighting and the backdrop of huge pines behind the cabin through the wall of windows as you enter off the covered wrap-around front porch. Once you get settled in, you’ll find so many options. Curl up in one of our comfy chairs with a fuzzy blanket and a book, challenge your loved one to one of our many games, make a meal together in our chef’s kitchen, or take the world’s longest soak in our spa tub. Evergreen has a large living area with designer furnishings, an open, modern kitchen and seating at the farmhouse table in the designated dining area. Just past the main area, you’ll love the bedroom (it’s a stunner), separate from the living area by a door - this is not just a one room studio. The bedroom has a King bed with luxury linens and high end memory foam mattress and French doors to the back deck/hot tub. There’s a separate barn door to the large, spa-like bathroom, complete with oversized tub, two person shower, his and hers spa robes, a separate toilet closet, Beekman 1802 soap, shampoo, and lotion, fluffy white spa towels, and make up towels and wipes. There is also an additional half bath, tucked under the stairs on the other side of the kitchen. The stairs lead to our second living area - a loft with a sofa and sofa bed, another TV, and the upstairs deck. We didn’t forget about the exterior! The front porch offers rocking chairs for enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverage. And the back porches... so many options. Relax in the hot tub, watch TV by the outdoor fireplace (seasonal) in the outdoor seating, dine al fresco around the outdoor dining table overlooking the forest, or sway the day away on our upstairs deck where half covers the suspended daybeds and half extends into the treetops, with chairs for lounging in the breeze. Also enjoy grilling your favorite dish on our propane grill (propane and grill utensils are provided), playing a game of corn hole or ladder golf, and cozying up around the string lights and fire pit when the sun goes down under the most gorgeous starry sky you’ve ever seen. Don’t be surprised if deer come by for a visit... it’s a common occurrence. We are on an oversized 1.3 acre tucked-away lot, with lots of room to spread out and relax. It's pure bliss! Also, and most importantly, you will receive 5-star service from beginning to end. They are for protection of our property and are to ensure our no-pet and no-party policies are being adhered to. They point solely at the entrances and are not regularly monitored during your stay. \*Decor is subject to change for cleanliness, maintenance or safety reasons. \*Ours is a small town with rural utilities. At times, you may see discoloration from the trace minerals (iron, manganese, etc.) in the water supply coming into the cabin. This can be an area-wide occurrence and the Broken Bow Water Department assures us, when happening, that the water is safe. This is not uncommon in small towns but is different than what we are used to in larger cities/towns. Two recommendations are to NOT WASH ANYTHING LIGHT COLORED in the washer and that some guests prefer bottled water over filtered water from the fridge. The spa will be clean but you may see a ring develop around the waterline from the minerals. \*Ours is a NO SMOKING, PET FREE cabin. No exceptions. For the comfort of all guests, please choose a different cabin if either of these are imperative to your stay. We STRONGLY recommend purchasing the Travel Protection Plan through VRBO. With the constant uncertainty surrounding the travel industry, it’s a small price to pay to protect the costs of your trip should you or someone in your party become unable to travel. It had everything we needed. It was very nice walking in to a decorated Christmas tree and a calming winter scene playing on the television. It felt very cozy and relaxing! Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The outside deck area with the hot tub and fireplace were excellent!! The host was very nice and reached out before our stay to offer information about things to do and places to eat in the area. She also checked on us during our stay to make sure our stay was comfortable in the cabin. We would definitely book this cabin again!! ##### Angela D. The cabin was so cozy and felt like home away from home. It was very clean too. When we first arrived it was like pulling into a hallmark movie. The cabin had a Christmas tree lit up inside and our girls were so excited to see it decorated! The owner was very informative and shared a lot of information to ensure we had the best visit. I highly recommend this cabin because it’s off the beaten path and very quiet. It’s super close to all of the fun stops and restaurants. The cabin is super clean, all the furniture is comfortable, and the decor is over the top. The kitchen is well stocked with usable pans and utensils. The outdoor areas were great as well. There are so many amenities I can't list all the good stuff! The front porch was inviting and the back area with the TV, hot tub and sitting area was beautiful and peaceful. But the best for us was the upstairs porch----very relaxing---a great place for a nap. The host has thought of every detail to make staying there enjoyable and stress free. The effort put in to all the details shows they care about your accomodations and making your trip more memorable. We had a great stay and will definitely be back to Evergreen. ##### Karen B. The swinging daybeds are perfect for reading or napping; it felt like a luxury treehouse in that space. Gorgeous decor and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. The owner communicated clearly and was very responsive. The property was extremely clean and everything worked properly throughout our stay. The location is perfect - easy access to restaurants and outdoor activities in Hochatown. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm and cozy. The decor is beautiful and every space provides such creative details. And, I’m pretty sure we utilized each space. We enjoyed a peaceful nap on the bed swings on the top balcony and the hot tub was perfect after a couple of days of fly fishing. Seriously, we were very impressed at how clean the hot tub was! I have been to Broken Bow many times and this cabin was the most well stocked, well taken care of and put together or them all! I appreciated how well the property manager communicated, it felt like I had a friend by the end of it. Absolutely everything was in working order, no issues! Bed was very comfortable as well as the generous amount of pillows. You will not be disappointed with this cabin.
