We encourage you not to leave doors and windows open, do not leave trash near the cabin, and to be aware of your surroundings ✔️ A starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, and laundry soap will be provided and typically will last for two days or until you can get to the store. Our cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, towels, and linens. ✔️ Propane is provided for the gas grill and the firepit is equipped with a grilling table. We had 6 teenagers in our group and there was LOTS of room and activities for everyone. We would recommend this house to anyone. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, porch and all the games. We stayed here for fall break (4 nights) with our two daughters and their friends. Everything was perfect, the hot tub was so relaxing after the days’ activities and we loved the record player and games, both indoor and outdoor games. They have the cabin decorated so cute and it was just the perfect getaway to relax with the kids and have a little break from our stressful jobs. It was our first getaway since daddy being here permanently with us after a long 6 year wait. We relaxed and did everything local possible. It was the perfect set up for two families with children. Iy was spotless and had every you could want at a cabin. Games, hot tub, NO BUGS at all, fire-pit, hikes, plus a lovely plot that was perfect to allow the kids to run around and just be kids without technology! Perfect location near all of the Hochatown activities. Everything was labeled for ease of use, lots of games and outdoor games and activities. We had everything we needed and love that it was pet friendly as well as stocked with pet disposal bags right as you walk out the door. Our dogs loved exploring. Thank you for a great stay! Oct 4, 2024 #### Great location & fun cabin! This was such a great location to be close to everything we wanted to do while still feeling tucked away in the forest. We spent a day kayaking in Beavers Bend State Park (literally right across the highway), rented a boat to take out on Broken Bow Lake (boat ramp was a five minute drive from the cabin), watched fireworks for the 4th of July at Mountain Fork Brewery (also very nearby) and ate at our favorite restaurants like Stevens Gap and Grateful Head Pizza. Truth be told though, even if we’d never left the cabin we would’ve had a great time! There are so many games and plenty of room to spread out. There is so much to do we could have stayed at the cabin and never left. The shuffleboard and Sudoku were our favorites. The house had everything you could ask for. We also loved the digital guide book. I referred to this so many times and it was such a good idea. We even used Adam’s snack wagon to deliver one night which I never would have thought of. Suzee was such a pleasure before, during and after the trip always checking to see if we needed anything. This cabin is our new favorite and we were so sad to leave. I would have been perfectly content just spending all weekend there in the cabin! There was plenty of games to keep everyone of all ages entertained. We did venture out some and some of our favorites were the Safari Zoo, Abendigos & the Friends Trail. We will definitely be coming back! Kids and family can have a nice and relaxed time as the cabin has all you need to enjoy your vacation. Suzee was the best host, who is always helpful and quick to respond. Jul 10, 2025 #### Another great time at Maxwell House! This is our second time staying at Maxwell House, and it is always the best. The kids loved the game table and the adults love the vibes of the decor and the convenient EV charger. The cabin location is perfect! So close to the state park, restaurants and the casino. Our new favorite thing we got to do this visit was Hester’s Theater of Magic. It’s just down the street from the cabin and was a great show! Everyone loved it. Built in beds, couch, tv, games, foosball, and barn doors to close off the loft for privacy/noise which was a GREAT feature. Full bath in the loft too. The outside is a DREAM. Deck space galore with the hot tub, fp, tv, games, loungers and more. Large fire pit that is well lit.Turn them off and view the stars! There are other cabins but the tall pines provide privacy as well as a beautiful backdrop. We loved walking around in the mornings coffee in hand. \*\* pet friendly, but keep in mind critters DO come out in the evenings!!\*\*Hochatown Saloon is super close and great for take out food\*\*Stevens Gap/Coyote area is a family friendly lake spot! Beautiful views, shoreline, tables/grills, playground and bathrooms. \*\*The guestbook has great info on placea in town to see/do/eat. \*\*Suzee was AMAZING and always relied back quickly to my messages.
