The internet left much to be desired, with most of our party not being able to connect. The pool is very small compared to the booking pictures. The hot tub would not get warm and had an unpleasant smell. We also had an issue with the bathroom light circuit breaker popping when showering. The pictures of the rental on VRBO looked amazing. The booking said the rental was on a gravel road but really 4 miles of dirt/red clay and the last mile was gravel. When we arrived at the rental we were disappointed with how dirty the pool was. Deflated pool toys laying around the pool, dirt in the pool, and the concrete around the pool was covered in leaves, dirt, bird poop and cigarette butts. All the outdoor furniture was dirty and not in good condition. The fire pit was broken and in bad shape. Both decks were dirty also. There was also a pair of men’s underwear lying in the driveway. The house itself was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The house was fairly clean ( hair on the shower walls from previous guests and dead bugs on the floors). I had little to no cellphone signal and the Wi-Fi only worked in the downstairs part of the house. I contacted Treeline Rentals with the provided number about the condition of the pool and outside of the house. It was very hard to communicate with them due to the lack of cellphone signal. They said they would get with maintenance team and get back with me. They did not respond until the next day and said that someone would be coming within the day to clean the pool and outdoor seating areas. We finally got to get in the pool that afternoon. It stormed that night and littered the pool again with leaves, tree branches and dirt. Séjour de 3 nuits en juillet 2025 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Morrehea H. 13 juill. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté Been going to broken bow for the past 6 years, this cabin sits much further back from the main roads just as an fyi and not very suitable for low sitting cars. However, this has nothing to do with my overall rating. No cell service, which is to be expected but the wifi is horrible pretty much no signal the entire stay. The hot tub temperature can't be turned up higher than 99 degrees. T pool is very small for a cabin that sleeps 10, overcrowed! I'm a stickler for details, especially for the price. There are no kitchen towels to dry or wash pots/pans or counter tops. One sponge was provided but was used to clean the grill which hadn't been cleaned in a while. Remote to television in upstairs bedroom didn't work, needed batteries, had to take them out the remote from living room, all through intermittent wifi. One drawer in kitchen you can barely open as its blocked by the oven door and knobs which is where the pot holders are kept. Massive spiderwebs everywhere, I get we are in the woods but at least wipe the outdoor furniture down prior to a stay. Toilet seat cracked (like that at arrival) in downstairs bathroom. Door handle in upstairs bathroom for the shower room coming off (loose screws). Living room furniture does not accommodate 10 people unless you're counting seats at the dining room table. Siding on the roof overhang missing. I just expected much better quality for the price. There are many more things I could pick apart but not wasting more of my time. ##### Morrehea H. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs bedroom with our 4 month old, and our nieces (both 9), his sister and parents stayed down stairs in the bedroom and bunk beds. We enjoyed pool days, hot tub nights, s’mores and grilling out. As well as riding our side by sides on the dirt roads, some morning golf, and a couple of day trips to Hochatown! ##### Evan H. The pool is MUCH smaller than it looks in the listing, and was not able to be heated because it had to be a certain time of year, which when we booked it was not made clear to us. Bring extras of everything, there was not enough coffee filters, toilet paper, no cleaning spray for counters, dishwasher pods, etc. Kitchen was stocked well with plates, cups etc but all the other items were not enough for a house that sleeps 10-12\. The communication was very confusing, There were delays in responses and then at one point I was given three different phone numbers for customer service which was just a little hard to navigate. Bring blankets to snuggle with in the living areas as there were none provided. There is a single blanket provided for all the bunks. If you sleep cold, bring more. All in all I would suggest the property but just with those things to note. ##### Jennifer E.
