This little honeymooner is loaded with enough “ahhhhhhh” moments to make your vacation one to remember. From the time you drive up the hill to the cabin until long after you have forced yourself to go back home, you will enjoy your time here. A wide open floor plan studio means you can lay in the king size bed watching the fire dance in the beautiful river rock fireplace all while watching movies on the large flat screen TV. The ready to cook kitchen is ready to make your time cooking as easy as possible, unless of course you decide to head a few minutes down the road to one of our great local restaurants. Since you came on vacation to relax –you may have a difficult time deciding whether to climb into the tub after a long day on the lake or spending the evening on the deck listening to the little creek and watching the wildlife. Whether you are a couple looking for some precious time to reconnect or a small family looking for a base to explore from – you will fall in love with the Mountain. This cabin does have a circle drive, however, longer trailers or inexperienced trailer pullers, may have some trouble navigating the tight turns of this driveway. If you are not comfortable pulling a trailer into this cabin, you are welcome to leave it at our office. Space is limited and it is first come, first served. This cabin is NOT pet friendly Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. RVs, Campers, and Tents are not allowed to be used on cabin property, overcrowding fees will apply. ATV and similar vehicles are not allowed to be ridden on the cabin property. The use of Fireworks and/ or Guns is prohibited on cabin property. Hot tub covers are to remain in place when not in use. Do not stand, sit, dance, or otherwise use the cover for anything other than its intended purpose. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. An additional fee of $20 per night will apply - regardless of how small or cute your dog is. The tv has a couple of issues but we were able to watch it. The towels were a bit hidden but we found them. There were no accommodations for toiletries except for hand soap. Luckily we brought shampoo & body wash. There was no mention to bring your own accommodations in the listing. Need to wash or replace the sheer curtains in the shower window. All of these things are small but at over 200/nt total, not unreasonable to have had. Close to grocery store, bonus. Outdoor table, chairs & grill too dirty to use & nothing in the cabin to make cleaning possible. So we couldn't utilize these features. My wife and I stayed there 3 nights this past weekend. The Cabin furniture and carpet area looked dirty with several stains. Even the Navy colored bed cover which we didn't use looked stained and dirty. First night we saw a couple of small German roaches, not a good sign. Being 6 hours away drive from home, decided to toughen up and enjoy as best we can. 3rd day I started getting what looked like mosquito bites on my legs (but there are no presence of mosquitoes in or around the cabin that I can notice. So I dismissed it and went along. Last day (check-out morning) I wake up early morning and start feeling and seeing clusters and rows of bug bites (classic bed bug patterns) on my head, face, neck, arms, etc... WHAT A NIGHTMARE. For the high price we paid, we would've been better off at a Motel 6 cleanliness. Contacted the host, but no response. There are several other minor inconveniences about this cabin but they pale in comparison NEVER AGAIN. ##### Mike A.
