We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Although it only sleeps two it was surprisingly spacious. The weather was excellent so we timed it right! The cottage is in a quiet area but handy for Bath and local places of interest. There are lovely walks from the cottage in the surrounding countryside too. There are a few pubs nearby, we visited the pub in Upton Cheney which does nice food. There is a pub in Bitton and one further up the road towards Bath (Swan Inn). We visited Bath, Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. We found that everything was within an hours’ drive and found it to be an excellent base to visit Somerset. Wonderfully peaceful location with a true nature lovers garden, squirrels, bunnies, a woodpecker and a hawk. It was central to all the places we wanted to visit.
