A little known piece of history of this suburb, which dates from the late 1800's is its link to the royal family, with its historic home Granite House having hosted a future King of England George V (Queen Victoria's grandson). From wine bars and vintage cocktail bars to Brisbane's best butcher, artisan bakeries, funky cafes, family dining, green walks and playgrounds, there is lots Ashgrove has to offer! We are located on the Ashgrove/Red Hill fringe, so very close to the Broncos Leagues Club, The City and Paddington. It is a 3-5minute walk to either Waterworks Road or Ashgrove Central where multiple buses leave from to: The City Fortitude Valley Spring Hill Paddington Suncorp Stadium Southbank The Gabba Mount Coo-tha The Gap Newmarket just to name a few!
