NO PARTY RULES and QUIET HOURS

Our house is not suitable for parties and events. The neighbour will call either me, our local security patrol or the police if noise is excessive after 10pm.

We had issues with guests using our house for parties before and Airbnb has helped us to install a noise monitor (For more info please search MINUT online) in our outdoor area. It is camera free and simply monitors sound level in the area. It does not listen in on conversations or capture any data. This device is fully integrated with AIRBNB and when excessive noise (over 80 dBs) is detected during our quiet hour (10 pm - 8am second day), an alarm will be sent off to you through Airbnb to remind you to keep the noise down and move your activities inside our home. If the noise persists, I will try to contact you first and resolve any issues with you. If I cannot reach you or the noise persists after our call, the local safety patrol or police wil be informed and further actions will be taken.

We usually need at least a day to arrange cleaning and inform our cleaners special check-in requirements. If you have made a same day booking, we cannot ensure you a 3pm check in. However we will try our best to accommodate your request, therefore drop us a message before you make a last minute booking and let us know your planned arrival time!

EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS

Unlike hotels, we do not have an onsite cleaning service and our cleaners usually make their schedule a day before. We have a standard check in time of 3pm which ensures that our cleaners have enough time to make our home nice and clean for your stay! If you need an early check in, please contact me at least a day before your planned arrival day and we will try our best to accommodate your request! Unfortunately we will not be able to guarantee any early check in request on the day of your arrival, thank you for your understanding in advance!

LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS

We understand that sometimes you really enjoy your time here with us and would like stay a little longer! However, we sometimes have guests coming to stay on the same day you check out and unlike hotels, we do not have alternative rooms for them! Therefore it is important that all late check out requests should be made AT LEAST THE NIGHT before your departure to ensure that our cleaners have plenty of time to finish their work! If you need to check out after 12pm, an extra HALF DAY rate will be charged through Airbnb and the payment must be made on and before the night you check out for your request to be approved. We will not accommodate late check out requests on the day of your departure. Without a late check out confirmation, our cleaner will commence their work at 10am and they will have access to our property for housekeeping.

STARTER SUPPLIES

We provide all our guests with essential starter supplies to make your stay more enjoyable. Complimentary supplies include: 1 set of bed linens for each bed, 2 towels per double/queen/king bed, 1 towel per single/sofa bed, 1 tea towel, coffee + tea + sugar + milk, 2 toilet rolls per toilet, 1 bath mat, 2 hand towels and shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, bodywash per bathroom. There are also a few other cooking supplies provided in our kitchen. Please note these supplies are not intended to last for the whole duration of your stay but are provided to avoid the need to rush to supermarkets immediately after your arrival. If you need extra supplies, please arrange with us prior to your stay to avoid delivery costs! If you would like to request mid-stay supply delivery, please contact us and we are more than happy to help!

Please make sure to book for the actual number of guests so that linens & towels can be provided for all!

I didn't appreciate the confusion checking in. We were directed to a lockbox that did not have our keys in it at 3pm check in time. When one was provided later, well after check in time they only provided one key even though I had requested two. The bathroom floor was dirty and there was still a full dishwasher of dishes from the people before us. I requested a key across our weekend and was unsuccessful getting one. This was inconvenient with our group relying on someone to always let us into the lift & then room. One lift wasn't working so with only two lifts and many people the wait was often long if we wanted to go anywhere. The unit was lovely, the location was great.

Aircon & water pressure issues

Location, cleanliness and views were amazing! Negatives: There was no cold air coming from any aircon unit. This was not good for my elderly in laws when the inside wall temp reached 34 degrees. The water pressure in the ensuite was that bad that we couldn't even shower in it. Positives: The communication with the host was amazing. Very helpful and prompt responses. Beautiful furniture and appliances and great supply of bathroom needs.I'd definitely give this place a 5 star if we didn't have those negatives.
