« Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ. »

« We had an excellent time at this property. 4 stars for cleanliness as windows and skirtings were dusty and a few cracked tiles on the kitchen floor but otherwise very clean and well presented. Summer house could be doing with a little TLC as the doors don't open and a couple of glass/Perspex panels missing from them. House has 2.5 bathrooms, not 1.5 that's in the description.I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would consider returning should we ever require such a large...

« We really enjoyed our stay at Birnie House Cottage and Aileen and Bob really made us feel welcome. They were so helpful and kind, always helping to plan our outings. The cottage was very cosy and we also loved the garden, the squirrels, the walk in the woods with the dogs... Also conveniently located for trips to Edinburgh, Perth, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and lots of castles. Thanks a lot and hope to see you again! »

« Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+ »
