New straight stairs, brand new Kitchen, flooring and new gas heating and A/C system. Added duct system in house, all rooms have vents, for A/C and heat. One of the few Units on property (on Cape) with Central A/C (60,000 BTU) , plus gas heat in the cooler months. Linens provided (Bed sheets, Pillowcases and Towels are provided. ) This is a beautiful and stylish 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse in prestige Ocean Edge Resort. Check-in and make yourself at home! Brewster has wonderful amenities at your fingertips beaches, golfing , biking, sup boarding, kayaking and running trails. Downstairs level contains living room, kitchen, dining, patio and one bedroom with queen and full bathroom. Upstairs has loft\\sleeping area, Master bath and master bathroom, Loft has 2 twin beds. Through loft area into bedroom with King bed and full bath. (Need to walk thru Loft to get to King Bedroom). Brand new Kitchen, Island add, new cabinets, all new appliances, granite counters, new flooring in kitchen, dining area and living room. New 55 inch flat screen TV. The photos, though accurate, over flatter the condition of the furnishings. The furnishings were worn and bedding (pillows) disappointing. All of that could have been more tolerable if the cleanliness was better. There was an odd smell in the unit that was particularly strong and unpleasant in the 2nd floor bedroom closet. Where it counted most, the bathrooms, cleanses was not good. We paid paid nearly 500 per night after all fees (in the offseason) and don’t feel we got outr money’s worth. Other relatives stayed on the same property for less in a much more updated unit. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this property. ##### Charles A. On the surface, the house looked nice—but once we settled in, things started falling apart. It felt like every day something else went wrong.The first-floor sink was clogged, and the hot water valve was so rusted that it felt like it might snap off when turning it. The toilet seat was completely rusted through and actually fell off the toilet. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The freezer didn’t freeze properly, forcing us to throw away a significant amount of food. On top of that, there was some kind of alarm (possibly a smoke detector) that went off randomly, but we were unable to locate it to turn it off.Ultimately, the ongoing issues were frustrating enough that we left a night early. But hey—there were beach chairs, so I guess that was supposed to make up for everything else falling apart. ##### Marco C. Fabulous We had a wonderful 5-star experience staying at this house at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA! The location is perfect, with a peaceful patio in the back, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. The place offered easy access to local attractions. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful from booking through checkout, quickly addressing all of our questions.Before arriving, we noticed another reviewer mentioned having to make their own beds. We asked the owner about this, and they explained they've recently switched maid services that make beds before arrival. We can confirm the beds were made upon our arrival, and the unit was comfortable, with very comfortable beds, spotless and welcoming.The resort amenities were excellent, making our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. We drove 2.5 hours to Boston, stayed there a night, from Boston went to Gloucester, then back to Brewster. From Brewster, went 50 minutes to Province Town....loved it. The condo was perfect for us...group of 3\. It takes a bit of time to drive through the resort to get to the condo. We went in Sept., weather was a bit chilly, which made the condo and bit chilly. We did not mess with the heat, but I am sure if we reached out to owner I would assume it would have been o.k. to turn on the heat. For bed snobs, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Hopefully owner will replace mattresses soon. Updates are being made to the condo, but still has some work to do to update. All in all, I enjoyed the stay and the condo/location. ##### Michele F.
