This place was way too expensive, rooms are dying and the smelly cigarette 🚬. Do not recommend this place at that price. We pay 265$ US. I think 75$ US should be a fair price. We went there for a concert at the Bangor Amphitheater. Location from there was good tho.

We are happy to see that the location for the concert was good. We are sorry that the room smelled of smoke, We are a non smoking hotel but people do not always comply. Thank You for staying with us!

Nous sommes désolés que vous ayez eu des problèmes avec l'eau chaude lorsque le bâtiment n'est pas plein, cela prend généralement quelques minutes pour passer les lignes. Ce n'est pas le plus bel hotel où j'ai été, mais il a tout ce dont on a besoin pour séjourner seul ou en couple/entre amis. Super bien positionné et tranquille, le staff est super gentil.

The room and bed were okay but the sink wouldn’t drain, the shower was tepid at best, and the blankets could be thicker considering the A/C was too cold and very loud. The breakfast was good.

First, for the cost of the room it was clean, spacious, quiet (though there wasnt many guests) beds were ok. Great location, mostly friendly staff. Breakfast was decent. The room itself could use a few repairs, not much water pressure for showering but sufficient to do a quick wash. Overall, we would stay here again.

I wasn't expecting much based on the low price. The room was small and basic, as expected. The surprize is that it appeared to be very well maintained and very clean. I would stay there again.

I had no problem with the hotel. My problem is with Expedia. I called the day before only to find out there was no reservation. Next time I’ll call the facility directly.

I thought this was an excellent choice for us. We visit from Nova Scotia usually twice yearly. More than reasonably priced and a very convenient location. I dont need fancy, I want clean and comfortable and this certainly was. I'll be back in the fall.

I had a really late arival flight with a long layover I got to the property at around 1:30. All i wanted to do was take a shower and sleep. I could not get hot water in the shower so i ended up quickly washing up in a COLD SHOWER. When i brought it to thier attention the next day i was told "sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get hot water!! If they have been aware of this issue it should have been fixed by now.

Staff was very nice. Hotel room was clean but out dated and much needed of repair in certain steas like the missing grout around bath tub. Air conditioner did not work very well and we did not ant to open window since on first floor.

We apologize for the inconvenience you had of waiting for 11 minutes. We made sure to check our security camera's because we would never want our guests to feel they were not receiving proper customer service. Our staff member that was on at that time was busy helping another guest in a different part of the hotel. There is a sign at the front desk area that does explain that you can call the listed number if there is no staff at the desk, and they will answer to let you know they will be down as soon as possible. We like to encourage guests to let us know when there are issues during their stay, so we can improve upon it while you are still here. We hope we get the chance to provide you with a far better stay in the future.

When I checked in the employee did not mention at all about breakfast (where it is/what time). Or about how to ride the airport shuttle. There were what looked like construction workers or landscapers parked in their work trucks blasting this God awful music in the parking lot, it was at around 6pm but still as a guest I don't want to hear that. Then the next day in the morning I hear the head housekeeper or manager or whatever yelling at some difficult guest next door to me who was sick with diarrhea yeah thanks lady for telling the whole floor that's great! If that guest is giving you a hard time well kick him out! Your disturbing me in the morning!! Yelling so unprofessional. There are no do not disturb signs. I also don't appreciate being woken up at 9:30 am by housekeeping every day! Cigarette buds all over the ground by the smoking areas. I guess there is an office right across the hall from room 129 and every morning employees sit in that office with the door open and talk their mouths aways shut up! It's a motel there's people sleeping. I'm done.

I knew that for the bargin rate I was getting there were likely going to be some issues. Starting with what was good, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable the shower was hot, and the breakfast area was clean and they offered a descent variety of food options, including really good coffee! The downside to staying there was that as a woman traveler, I didn't feel safe, and one of the locks on the two exterior doors to my room was broken. My hairdryer wasn't working, and the front desk said they would try to address this, but this didn't. The three biggest problems were the noise outside and inside the room, including lawn mowing which occurred prior to six am one day. The most critical problem was that the room didn't have any heat, and there wasn't a blanket on the bed. The first night when it was cold, I just thought the heat would come on later, but it didn't, nor did it the second night, but I had hope it would. It turns out that when I was checking out of the room, the front desk told me the hotel had shut off the heat, as they were inbetween the cold and hot season. Had I known this, I would not have stayed at the hotel.

I mean, it is really filthy. === There was exactly one coat hanger in our room, which was designed to accommodate up to 4 people. How about getting 5 new coat hangers?

Property was clean, very Mainesque in central locations. Breakfast was very good and lots of room to sit. Not able to sit in there to play games or such. Found a hypodermic needle outside our outside door with a bunch of trash. Staff were very polite.

Just an average motel, dated and worn. Could use some maintenance on interior and exterior. You can hear the footsteps above you and constant creaking. Otherwise the beds we’re comfortable, room felt clean enough and it’s pet friendly with a really nice outside area for exercising your dog. Breakfast is basic continental. The most expensive hotel on our 5 night journey back from Florida so probably won’t stay here again. Not sure why Bangor jacks up their rates at the very beginning of May when the other states don’t.

Even with never staying at an Inn before it was not how it was described or pictured. Mini fridge was not plugged in before we arrived and the hot water was on demand and would take 20 minutes to heat up. The building is in very poor condition. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere to stay.

We here at Vacationland Inn & Suites are sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Did you bring the issue of non working tv and no hot water to the front desk staff. As we would have changed rooms for you to try and properly accommodate your needs. We unfortunately could not rectify any issues you had if it was not brought to our attention. As for the hot water it can take a while to get very hot and guest are advised to let the water run before they hop in the shower. Again we are sorry for any inconvenience this caused you

The room was outdated when taking a shower the tub filled up with 4 inches of water and took it over an hour to drain. The shower itself. The water pressure was very low. The bathroom ceiling tile was falling in and the reason the other ones were not was because they were screwed in with Sheet rock screws. When I woke up in the morning, went to the bathroom there was a roach or bug on the bathroom floor.
