Very beautiful place for a B&B. The cottage was cute and nicely decorated. There was an infestation of lady bugs. Had to pick them off while in bed. There were also critters under the shower floor area chewing on something and making alot of noise each night. There was an aroma of a dead rat throughout the cottage. There were several airwick plugins mixing with the dead rat smell. It was kinda nauseating.
It is a beautiful property.
We barely saw the owners however. I actually never even met him or her. I only saw some workers. There was nothing offered for us to do or anything shown to us on the property. There is a fire pit but there was no one to light it. And there is a barbecue grill but I would’ve had no idea how to start it. Luckily we had eaten a very late lunch or we would have starved to death. Lol. I have no idea if there is anything within driving distance to eat. but we were just there to chill out so that was OK.
We loved the place, it was beautiful, clean, excellent breakfasts, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. Very peaceful, quiet, the perfect get away.
We will for sure go back. Minor things like light in bathroom burned out and some wall plates didn't work but overall was an amazing experience
Absolutely amazing property. We stayed in one of the small lodges. It was secluded with a hot tub and fully equipped house. We slept in the loft bed, and woke up with a Robin on a branch right next to the window chirping away. It is a fantastic place to escape just about anything.
If we could change anything, it would be the amount of time we spent there, it was not nearly long enough!
We are already planning our return trip.
Beautiful location. Great well equipped accommodation with lots of space. Breakfast materials could have been better, some fresh fruit and pastries would have been nice
Peaceful.
If you want to feel like you’ve just escaped, this is the place to go. I don’t think we saw another soul for days. Cows strolled by in the mornings to graze; deer drifted by in the evenings. Fireflies were the evening light show.
