Communication was good for check-in as this is a condo style building with rental units. Our unit had dirty dishes in the sink, unclean counters no bedding and only a small window with no AC. The manager came and agreed it was unacceptable and helped us move our belongings back out to the car. I was told I would get a refund and received approx 2/3\. As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. For example, the front desk is only open M-F from 8a-6p so if you need help outside of those hours, you’re SOL. - Cleaning service is only done on a bi-weekly so when we stayed here for 5 days, the room got pretty dirty and we had trash and dirty towels piling up. - The portable AC included in the room is suitable up to 400 sq ft but the room is almost 500 sq ft. When we visited here during the heat wave, it did not do a good job of cooling the room. What I do like: - Room itself is beautiful and filled with modern appliances and esthetics. It was clean and the small kitchen was super useful. - The best aspect is its location with walking distance to many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. The boardwalk is nice for taking a stroll and watching boats sail by. The ferry to Seattle is also right by this place so it’s super convenient to be able to get to that side of town. - There is a mini grocery store on-site with an abundance of items at reasonable prices. Overall, I give this place 3 stars. The stay itself was ok. The room was nice and clean. They barely staff the front desk, so very difficult to take care of any problems. We reserved a king suite, but for a queen room. (I'm assuming it was a queen room, there is no way that was a King size bed) Could never find anyone at the front desk, so just dealt with it. TV never worked. Again couldn't find anyone at the front desk. Just dealt with it. Parking was horibble and $20 per night, but that's pretty much everywhere in that area.
