This old workers' Cottage has been renovated with a cozy, stylish, rustic finish. With stone interior walls and a stone fireplace, this cottage provides a taste of country living in the rural Brecon Beacons. Romantic and cozy, this traditional cottage is the perfect location to enjoy the best that the National Park offers with walks from your doorstep.  
  
Llysfaen cottage can sleep up to five guests with two double bedrooms, and a single room. The traditional kitchen has all you will need for your stay, including an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine.  
  
The spacious living room has a chesterfield style three-piece and two-piece sofa, comfy armchair and footrest, Smart TV, and electric fire. The dining table is the heart of the room, where you can sit among friends and family to share a home-cooked meal.

The contemporary bathroom provides a stunning corner bath to relax in after a day of activities, a stylish walk-in shower, toilet, and hand-basin.

The outdoor area sits alongside the working farm, so expect to be immersed with farm life during your stay. It is the perfect location to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and witness the spectacular dark skies.

This property also accepts a small dog.  
  
It’s a semi-detached cottage adjoining Trefaen Cottage next door.  
  
A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.  
There is a on-site EV charger for guests with electric vehicles, making it easy to charge up and explore the area.  
  
Set on a working farm in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, Llysfaen Cottage is a beautifully restored former workers’ cottage, offering a cosy and rustic countryside escape. With its exposed stone walls, traditional feature fireplace, and tranquil surroundings, this is the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and embrace the simple pleasures of rural life.  
Whether you're planning romantic evenings in or relaxed getaways with family and friends, this traditional Welsh cottage provides the ideal base to explore the natural beauty of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, with walking trails starting right from your doorstep.  
Llysfaen sleeps up to five guests across two inviting double bedrooms and a single room, each thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The traditional kitchen is well-equipped for your stay, featuring an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine, everything you need for a self-catered break. A starter pack consisting of tea, coffee and sugar sachets are also available to get your started.   
The spacious living room is warm and welcoming, furnished with a Chesterfield-style three-seat sofa, a matching two-seater, a cosy armchair and footrest, and an electric fire for those chillier evenings. A Smart TV provides entertainment, while the dining table at the heart of the room invites you to gather for meals, games, or simply good conversation.  
After a day of adventure in the hills, relax and recharge in the contemporary bathroom, complete with a luxurious corner bath, stylish walk-in shower, toilet, hand basin, and a heated towel rail for toasty towels. We also provide complimentary Black Pepper & Sandalwood shampoo, body wash, and conditioner for a little added indulgence.  
Outside, soak in the sights and sounds of farm life as you sip a glass of wine under the region’s famously dark skies.  
As a dog-friendly property, you're welcome to bring along up to two small dogs, so your furry companions don’t miss out on the adventure.  
Llysfaen Cottage is semi-detached, adjoining neighbouring Trefaen Cottage and Oak Barn, making it ideal for larger groups when rented together as Crai Valley Holiday Complex.  
We also support eco-conscious travel, EV charging stations are available on-site for guest use.   
For families, a travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request (please bring your own cot blankets).
