The town of Breckenridge was, of course, very busy, but Tomahawk Lodge was in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood so it was easy to unwind. We had around 20 guests and everyone was able to stretch out and sleep comfortably, and the amply supplied kitchens made cooking a breeze. Plenty of room and things to keep active teenage boys busy. We had everything we needed, as in the kitchen was well stocked with various cookware and utensils. Sheets, blankets and pillows were fine, comfortable beds, and quiet neighborhood with easy access to the bus.The one aspect I did not realize, were all the stairs. We did have 2 elderly people in our group, and a couple of people with knee issues, making it a bit of a challenge to traverse all the stairs. That is something to keep in mind when booking for a family reunion including a 92 year old uncle from Texas. He slept on the he sofa and did fine.
