Wake up each morning to views of mountain peaks and evergreen treetops at this luxury penthouse at Water House West, an all-seasons retreat within steps of the Breckenridge ski lifts, Main Street, and a wealth of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

The 1,160-square-foot living space is all on one level, offering stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a TV in each of the bedrooms and the living area, and breathtaking views of Baldy Mountain and Breckenridge Ski Resort from the balcony. Warm up in front of the gas fireplace after a thrilling day of hiking or skiing, and take advantage of wonderful on-site amenities that include multiple hot tubs, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a cinema, and easy ski storage.

Water House West, a new luxury property in Breckenridge, sits just a few steps from Main Street and the QuickSilver Super Chair at the base of Peak 9. It's a location that will give you prime access to the 34 lifts, 187 trails, four terrain parks, and 2,908 acres of skiable terrain at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Yet you'll also be within easy walking distance of the Riverwalk that traces the banks of the Blue River and a wonderful assortment of shops, restaurants, breweries, and apres-ski spots all along Main Street a few blocks north. Come summertime, you can fill your days with scenic lift rides, mountain hikes, thrilling rides on the Goldrunner Coaster and the Alpine Slide, and relaxing rounds of golf at the Breckenridge Golf Club only five miles north.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Gorgeous Penthouse Condo

This is a beautiful rental. It boasts a comfortable and luxurious interior, and the views can't be beat! The location is ideal with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The only drawback was that we were without heat in all but the master bedroom for the duration of our stay, but the management company said they would be replacing the thermostat soon. All in all, this is an incredible condo!

Beautiful

This penthouse is well accommodated and the location is perfect near the base of peak 9. There are beautiful views of the mountains and ski lifts off the balcony. And Main Street is 100 yards away out the front door. Our stay on the 4th floor was quiet and peaceful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our second stay at this unit

We stayed at this unit in Oct '23 and then again in Oct '24. The location still can't be beaten and the value for this time of year is excellent. It's a well appointed unit and has a great view of the mountain from the balcony. There are a few small maintenance issues that Vacasa needs to address as at least one of the items was reported on our last stay but they are minor. As the listing notes there is no A/C in the unit and it can still get a little toasty even in October but it's really only late afternoon to early evening, we just opened the door to the balcony and ran the fans for a few minutes. We've already talked about our next visit and this place will be high up on on our list.

Fabulous Location

Overall this was a great stay with a few things that are an easy fix. The unit is very well appointed, a few items are showing a bit of wear but this is often the case when units are rented, nothing that detracted from the stay though. Great kitchen and the bathrooms are both very nice, high end finishes throughout. The space does look a lot bigger in the pictures but that’s a wide angle lens for you, again nothing wrong with making it look as nice and big as possible. The unit is top floor on a corner so there was next to no noise to bother our group, one night a big group in a hallway for a few minutes, one morning 2 dogs barking that’s it and the location is really really close to everything, so you’d expect more outside noise. Don’t think you’d find something any nicer for the price this close to town. You are next to everything, skiers will walk to the lifts, shoppers and hikers like us are right by shops and within easy access of trailheads. Pool, hot tubs galore and a great fitness center all enhanced our experience. The one major blip for us and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, there was no heat during our stay, we did report this but it was not corrected during our 3 night stay. We also paid for late checkout but we were locked out on our last day and had to go get new keys, minor but annoying when you’re trying to beat traffic.

Nice Condo. Nice view. Great location by main street and the river walk in Breckinridge. Other reviews have pointed out that check in and parking is a bit confusing, but easy communication with the property management company made that fairly simple. Just be aware that the location for check in and parking access, while adjacent to the condo building, is at a different address than the actual condo building.

gorgeous property

Great stay and location, very difficult check in....address was wrong where you check in, there were two addresses given one of the property the other where you check in and it was difficult to find due to an error in the address, then the building is laid out with numbers not corresponding to the floor and there were two different entry doors and if you went into the wrong one you won't find the unit. So hopefully they are getting that more organized, but fair warning not an easy check in!!!

Great location!!!

This property was perfect for our family of 5! It was close to quicksilver chairlift on peak 9. We rented skis, picked up the night before and the condo stored them. Quick/easy pick up the next day. If doing lessons/renting - choose the Maggie. Hot tubs and pool were a huge hit for all of us! So close to Main Street, tons of restaurants- we didn’t even need to use the rental car. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our first time in Breckenridge and this property made it so easy and enjoyable. We will be back!

Wonderful penthouse - great location

Overall we were quite pleased with this property and would stay here again. The condo was very comfortable, quiet, and had a very high class feel. Accessibility, location, parking, and local conveniences were above average. The kitchen was nicely laid out and well stocked if one wanted to prepare or cook large meals for entertaining. The two gripes that we had were that there were numerous lights not working throughout the unit (4 in the master bath alone), and that maintaining a comfortable temperature throughout the unit was a challenge. Suitable heating in the extra bedroom was never accomplished, and the living room temperature each morning was reading 61 degrees. Yes - we are familiar with baseboard heating, and the fact that there were dual thermostats in the unit, and that we were adjusting the thermostat settings appropriately. Overall, we were very happy during our relatively short stay and were able to work around the non-functioning items. The front desk was notified of these issues in writing, so hopefully maintenance will have an opportunity to correct these inconveniences.
