Alpine Edge provides supplies for a typical weekend stay, including paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent for a few loads, hotel-style bottles of shampoo and soap, plus extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Fresh pressed linens, including all bed sheets and towels, are also included. 4WD/AWD/Traction Devices are highly recommended during the winter months. We recommend referring to the Colorado Department of Transportation Traction Laws before arriving in Summit County. We are located in a high alpine environment where variable conditions may exist. Tire traction devices are also highly recommended as heavy snowfall is expected from November to May. Good views. Nice balcony. As another reviewer noted, queen-sized beds are not quite "queen-sized." Surprised there was no ice maker for the expense of the rental. The property manager is on top of it all when needed. My only comment would be that an air conditioner would be my preference, however, not common in the region. It had all the bells and whistles and was so spacious for 2 families. The views from the house and hot tub were spectacular and it was a true ski in, ski out! It was literally a 3 minute walk to the gondola, which took you right to peak 8\. Also, a very short drive to town. Our only complaint was that the TV's were not working (hard with 4 kids), but management was very responsive, although the situation could not be fixed during out stay.
