(Also had to drop the keys and parking pass in the way out). I’m not sure if the owner was aware but the pool and spa and all dining options were closed on property while we were there. We could bowl or play pool though but only after getting a staff member to open the rooms though. Also, not the owners fault but the gondola BreckConnect was closed as well. We saw maybe two other guests while on property as it was off season so it was VERY quiet. The staff was nice, especially Aubrey. He was very friendly. ##### Molly M. The building amenities were also great. Our only comment is that the furniture is a bit dated and not everything is in great condition. The dresser for example fell over on top of us when we pulled out one drawer (the dresser is anchored to the wall by the back panel, but the back panel is thin plyboard and came off the back of the dresser so the dresser separated and fell forward. In addition, one of the dining chairs was missing and the mattresses are old and could probably be replaced. Otherwise, the unit was very comfortable. ##### Camellia J. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic. The hotel used to be a Rocks Resoet but has lost that affiliation. There were very limited food options on site, glad we brought a full order of groceries and having a full kitchen it worked out. The ski valet and on site staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the rental washing machine was out of service the entirety of our stay. I read other reviews that it was previously a problem for other guests but was fixed quickly. We were told 2 days before we arrived that it was broken. , I asked several times for the repair company to come as soon as possible as we were traveling with kids and needed the washer. . I was first told they might be able come repair it during our 5 days stay, then I was told they would not be able to come. The washer had water in it and started to smell. The dryer worked , so we basically washed clothes by hand in the bath tub and used the dryer. The Ice machine was also very finicky so we ended up buying a bag of ice. The beds very very comfortable.the couch was a bit tired and the fireplace glass was glazed over so we couldn’t really see the fire. The only issues we had were somewhat minor, but I would have appreciated to have known ahead of time so it would not be a surprise: (1) All the shelves on the right door of the refrigerator were missing, (2) the middle burner knob on the stove top was broken, (3) the dishwasher bottom tray was missing several wheels, and (4) they had the wrong sized coffee filter. The manager was able to repair the burner knob, so we were able to cook dinner (it was the main, large burner), and ordered the wheels for the dishwasher bottom tray (it didn't arrive before we left, so we had to carefully pull out and push in the bottom tray for each wash cycle). I took care of the coffee filter the next morning. As to the missing shelves refrigerator door, the manager told me that the owner doesn't want to spend the money on the replacement. The manager offered to send us a small portable frig to use, which was very considerate, but we declined. We made due with that and tried to limit what we stocked in the frig. Aside from those minor issues, the unit is very comfortable, has a fantastic balcony looking out onto the lifts, and the location is great! For the price that we paid we were expecting it to be in tip-top shape without any of the inconvenient issues. ##### Al D. The property amenities included a bowling alley and shuttle service that was like having a limo at your disposal. The property has a ski check in at lift that made ski in ski very convenient. The property manager messaged us by text and was incredibly responsive. The rooms were great and the building amenities were wonderful for our family. The downstairs parking garage with luggage carts made unloading and repacking a breeze. The only odd thing was they asked us to pick keys up in Frisco which was 20m past Breck for us due to the direction we were coming from. It is a great family-friendly condo with lots of amenities. The only negative to our trip was the refrigerator and freezer did not work the entirety of our 5 night trip. Property management did bring us two mini-fridges with one having a dedicated freezer. This worked fine for our family in this instance and the only real disappointment was the almost 8hr wait for someone to come check it out and then provide a solution. The only other issue was when we locked ourselves out of the unit (our fault), the property management company is off site and not associated with the condo, so the condo building staff won’t grant you access back to your unit and since it was after-hours, we had to drive to town and wait about 30 minutes for someone to make us a new key, again- our fault, but good info for others. Overall, great location with great amenities (bowling, small market, indoor pool, hot tub both inside and outside and more) and family friendly. ##### coby w. Reviewer Comments: Simply fantastic 5-night stay: highlights being the on-site ski valet that made it a FIRST CLASS ski-in/out experience, and the Peak 8 services including the Breck Connect Gondola to downtown via Peak 7\. We REALLY enjoyed daily use of the pool/hot tub/sauna, especially after the outdoor hot tub re-opened about halfway through the stay. The One Ski Hill front desk and restaurant staff were fantastic, and the "Market Place" near the front desk had enough options to satisfy snacks and light breakfasts. Check in/out, folio pickup, and text communications with VisitBreck staff were very nice.
